Some Pictures from Jagex

ok thee "bone yard" looks to me like the rag and bone man's place sans his hut and whatnot.

 

as for this picture; it's NOT a monkey or an ape.

 

 

 

1. Monkeys and apes both have "hands" for feet. The concept art for this creature does not.

 

2. Apes don't have tails so it's certainly not an ape.

 

3. Neither apes nor monkeys have protrusions from their spines.

 

4. Neither monkeys nor apes have [bleep]es on the end of their tails.

 

5. Neither monkeys nor apes have plated or ridged skulls.

 

 

 

I don't know what it is precisely, but it's not a monkey or an ape. I'm positive that those two pictures mean there's a sequel coming to rag and bone man though. I can't wait.

 

 

 

You take things way too literally. Just because it doesn't have the same details for bones as an ape or monkey doesn't mean it isn't. It's CLEARLY some sort of primate. Look at the skull. Look at the posture. Look at the hands. It has opposable thumbs. Also, this is concept art. 9/10 times concept art never looks exactly like the real in-game thing. And even if it does look just like this, there's no rule that things in Runescape have to look exactly like they would in real life. Maybe this is an ancient or mutated type of a primate.

Well there is only one way to find out if its a monkey or not we check the Rag and Bone man list of bones. :l

 

 

 

Also I can't wait for the day and night that will be the best update ever.

 

 

 

Edit:You need a baby dragon bone for the list which would make sense for the skull.

I reckon this animal won't fit into any category. It's clearly a mix of all the bones we brought the Rag and Bone Man. The arms, and legs have different bones in on each side, and one shoulder is huge.

"If you read the Wish List after you have retrieved ALL the bones (after the second quest), the Wish List has been updated to say: "Non-chafing Manacles", which is a non-existent item. This could be a hint to a future third part of the quest or to keep the monster in prison. We need something. MA was fun but I really want some more quests or a new skill. (Well, mostly a new skill.)

 

 

 

No we need Day and Night and pet rabbits and I'll be complete FOR NOW. :D

I honestly can't see what's so great about day and night, as in how will it affect the gameplay other than having something else to look at. Well, still looking forward to these updates.

 

 

 

I agree. While night and day will be nice, it's not going to make me content. I want something that I can work on for a while like a new skill or at least give me some more high leveled quests or something. I'll take what I get, but we really are overdue for a new skill. It's been over a year and half now. =-/

The new graphical details and improvements look great. Would be a good tie in to release the improvements and Night+Day at the same time...if it exists.

You can already have day and night ... turn the brightness down on your comp screen! :lol:

 

 

 

I agree, day and night is a waste of development time which could be used for a new skill, area, monster, anything.

Release new vampire quest, add day and night, and every 30 mins or so the town turns to darkness and some level 200 vamps come out to kill you, that'll be nice and werewolves.

 

 

 

Must carry lantern in those nights too add firemaking requirements could be fun.

Jagex already thought of a new skill, and its coming next year.

99 Hunter - November 1st, 2008

99 Cooking -July 22nd, 2009

99 Firemaking - July 29th, 2010

99 Fletching - December 30th, 2010

Release new vampire quest, add day and night, and every 30 mins or so the town turns to darkness and some level 200 vamps come out to kill you, that'll be nice and werewolves.

 

 

 

Must carry lantern in those nights too add firemaking requirements could be fun.

Jagex already thought of a new skill, and its coming next year.

 

 

 

As godofjoy said, they've already been working on a new skill. In fact, they've been working on it since before Summoning was released. They said themselves that they are always working on a new skill at all times, so when one is released the next is already in developement.

 

 

 

Though I believe the skill is due out for this year. The interview that Mod MMG stated the new skill would be out next year was taken last year.

Canifis doesnt have decent level werewolves, I was saying integrate the monsters with day/night maybe add lunar cycles, astronomy and deadly high level towns.

Abit unfair I dont think is the case skillers chose not to do combat, lowe levels can train, its like this whole "Omg 99 X LUCKY!!" how is earning a 99 Lucky.
