Granted permission by admin, I decided to create a blog for my day-to-day stories. (because I have to tell it all!) I will be adding entries to this main post, so whenever your bored look here and not other pages! Any questions you need to know that are not listed below, please ask me! Thanks.

 

 

 

For starters, those who have not seen my RS blog, my name is Zach, a highschool student in Missouri, United States. I have two other siblings, 23 year old Sister, and 20 year old brother. Which leaves me at age 17, we're all 3 years apart. Only one parent, my mom; my father passed away July 8th, 2007. Which was two years ago not too long ago. I'm currently a junior at a public highschool. I had to switch schools because we at a new high school, so the bus routes changed and I was forced to move schools. Completely saddened, I left behind nearly 80% of my good friends. Luckily my best friend moved with me.

 

 

 

My hobbies aren't too special, basically bowling, gaming, and animal-care. I started bowling a lot when my & my gym class went on bowling trips once a week in freshmen year. Ever since then I would always drag my friends to come with me. I've been bowling for almost 2 years now, I've made improvements. As for gaming, I like to do in my spare time, whatever I get outside work. I'm an avid fan of Bioshock, The Sims series, and Fable series, mainly. If anyone wants to know, I do not own Xbox live. I really don't have much time for it. I just like to play for fun. I got my first part-time job April 2nd, 2008, At Eagle Animal Hospital as a Veternarian Assistant. Basically I Take care of the animals that board there, while their owners are away from vacation and such. I'm also in charge of cleaning the whole hospital now, since they fired the main cleaning woman. I love my co-workers, except my supervisor. Although I think it's in everyones blood to hate their boss. I haven't quite decided what I want to be later on in life, perhaps something to do in history, Vet Tech, or game design. It's a real hard choice.

 

 

 

Another HUGE part of my life is music. (Isn't it everyones???) if you know me or seen my profile you would OBVIOUSLY know my favorite band is Marilyn Manson. For those who are wondering, Marilyn Manson helped me clean up - after listening to a few of his sounds, which quickly grabbed my attention, I grew further and further away from My Chemical Romance. I'm so glad I want nothing to do with MCR now. When listening to MCR it would always make me sad, and I almost wiped myself off exsistance. (For those who were around knows) It's really hard for me to talk about this. But it's all thanks to Marilyn Manson I'm alive today. The one song, the first song I heard, was a life changing song. That song is "Coma White" by Marilyn Manson. Please, give it a try. I know you'll like it!

Anyways enough about the basic's, Below here I will post my day-to-day logs. I will TRY to do day-to-day. I'm working a lot, so I will have more stories!

 

 

 

[hide=Blog Entry #1 7/19/2009]Since my co-worker got fired two weeks ago, I've been taking most of her hours. And I just so happen to work on sundays now. Today, sunday, I was at work, and saw true sadness. Friday, 7/17, A Pit-Bull named Chaos was hit by a car, and was rushed into our hospital. He would be staying for probably a good two weeks, but unfortunately he did not last the weekend. Today around 11AM, I went up to do the daily check. (I told myself I'd check up every 30 minutes or so on him) When I went to check up on him, a saw a puddle of blood dripping down his mouth, running out of the cage.

 

 

 

I quickly yelled for my co-worker, Rachel, who was hired with me. She came running down and we both had thought Chaos has bit his tounge, but when he opened his mouth his tounge was fine. I quickly called our on-call doctor (The hospital's clsoed on sundays) When the doctor arrived, she had called Chaos' owners and the owners came down. Once arrived they came to comfort Chaos, and yell at the doctor. She didn't do anything wrong, and were acting real nasty, trying to get him to the emerency clinic, because he was in horrible shape. But a few minutes later, he was pronounced dead. Turns out his intestines were badly damaged, and caused him to vomit loads of blood. The poor guy wasn't even 1 year old. RIP Chaos. :cry:

 

 

 

As I worked 10 hours today, and had a rough day - I just decided to crash at home for the night, because I have to wake up at 7AM to go to work again. My Boss has been on vacation since the beginning of July, and she will be returning wednesday. We're all dreading it. Many things broke since she left. Pooper Scooper (we were having fun killing hornets! They're everywhere!) The Dryer we put on dogs that get bathed. Which died of old age! I didn't do it this time! A dryer, which I blame my new co-worker for putting soaked blankets in the dryer. And the ceiling downstairs is peeling off because of tornado damage few years back. ( I wasn't working there at the time)

 

 

 

Really dreading tomorrow - 11 baths to do. It's going to be a long day...I'm off for now everyone, Hopefully something good happens tomorrow, I can share pictures! Thanks for reading everyone!

[hide=Blog Entry #2 7/20/09]Another day closer to my bosses return, another long day. It was hectic at first, but I was asked to help with something I'm so happy I was asked. A doctor had asked me to help him with declawing a cat. Of course I didn't get to remove them, but it was very interesting to watch. Our newer co-worker wants to be a vet, so he was hired to shadow everyone (but mainly work in the back) We watched the whole surgery, and when the doctor pulled the nails out, the kid passed out! haha ! He wants to be a vet and he passes out seeing blood. Me, of course, I love blood & guts so it was perfect for me. I was honoured and he said I did a great job with the surgery. Raise plx.

 

 

 

Just about an hour ago my 'friend' calls me and asked me How I was, I didn't respond. This girl likes me, but I only liked her as a friend. She's...erm not my type. Big time. After she wrote me a note I really haven't talked to her. This was in April, she wrote it for me. She to go out with my so bad I flat out said I do not want to and now she's like an uber stalker. Yes, I used to talk to her A LOT before she wrote it to me, but I had nooo idea she liked me. It's like I can't even be good friends with a woman without them trying to get me to go out with them. Well...haha I shouldn't complain about that...but it gets annoying! Anyone have any advice to get her off my back?

 

 

 

Anyways, as I said in my last entry, I had 11 bathes at work. I gave four of them, an Irish Wolfhound, Pug, Shih-tzu and a border-collie. The Irish wolfhound is a pretty rare breed, it was kind of an honor to bathe it! Her name was Lanie, like one of the sweetest dogs in the world! I took some pictures for you guys, so I present the awesome Irish Wolfhound, Lanie!

Molly is huge black Chow X, and Katie is the biggest dachshund you'll ever see. Srsly.

Another task I did today was give a CAO to a long-haired domestic cat. It's so fun! CAO is a "Clip-all-over". Basically shave it everywhere except the head & Tail. His name was brutus. and he was meeeean :[

[hide=Blog Entry #3 7/21/2009]I have had a very bad, pissed off day. First of all this afternoon, my neighbors called animal control on my chow x (Molly, who is an outside dog) because there stupid cat was in my tree in the backyard eating our pears from the pear tree. When the guy came into my backyard I immidiently came shooting out my back door, wondering what the hell was going on, and the man says, "Your neighbor called me, because their cat is in your tree, and said your dog was extremely dangerous." This is a HUGE faacebalm to me because Molly is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever owned/seen. Even the animal controlist petted her and everything, and clearly he even said it wsn't aggressive at all.

 

 

 

So, PISSED as I was, I climb up that tree and scruffled the cats neck (to make it where they are unable to bite) and dropped out of the tree, and the cat was trying to attack me, and clearly said, "Well, this cat seems aggressive, and I'd hate for you to come out here for no reason, here you go, take this back with you." And he did! He brought the nieghbors cat into the shelter. And once he drove away the nieghbors saw this, and called the police. When they came knocking on my door, I told them the story and said, "Their cat came into MY YARD and into MY TREE and ate MY PEARS. We eat these pears and now bunches of them are dropped & half eaten. It's like if you had crops, and rabbits came eating them. You don't want that!" The cops agreed with me and drove away.

 

 

 

So after the cops left the neighbors came up to me and rang my door bell several times. I opened my door and he screams, "What the F*** did you do?!" and I simply said, "I won" and shut the door in their face.

 

 

 

Felt so good but it pissed me off so much that they lied and said my dog was extremely aggressive even though she's a very sweet dog.

[hide=blog Entry #4 7/23/09]Sorry about yesterday. things happend, but nothing was entertaining to read.

 

 

 

I finally have my day off after working 17 days in a row. 10 8-6's and 7 1-6's. Not gonna lie, paychecks gonna be fat. Which I will be getting tomorrow!

 

 

 

Anyways, I went today for my car inspection. On my way to the BP station I witnessed a huge car crash. The cat must have not been paying attention, but he was about 4-5 cars ahead of me and we moved into the lane to the left, which of course was going the opposite direction we were going. This, also, was on a 50MPH road. Unfortunately the car that got hit turned on its side. Luckily it didn't turn upside down. I was at BP station by now, so I watched the whole thing. ( I was Basically at the station before it happend. It appeared only appeared one person was majorly injured, not sure about anyone else, or he the person survived. I wasn't sure what the car that got hit was, but the person who hit the car, was a nitro. Pretty ncie one too. Wasn't after this though. It usually would only take me about 10 minutes to get home from BP. After the accident it took me 30 minutes because the backroad I used got me to a totally different city. haha.

 

 

 

As my luck I went inside and asked for an inspection, and it was booked for today, on my only day off. So...I made an appointment for tomorrow at 2PM. Hopefully they're not delayed because I work at 3PM. That's really all I have today.

 

For those interested, I have a '95 Grand Cherokee.

[hide=Blog Entry #5 7/24/09]What a short day. I began my morning at the car-wash, and lucky me I find $5 in quarters! Used those and got $2.50 profit!! hehe good thing the real owner of them didn't show up. I would've lied about it though! After the car-wash I had a 2PM appointment for my jeep's inspection. and It passed! I'm so happy because it's like...crap! Outside of the car is fine, but things I noticed are wrong with my jeep are:

 

-Hazard lights barely work,

 

-Emergency break gets stuck

 

-Delay wipers don't work

 

-No air condition (I know they don't check these, I'm just naming off things that are wrong with my jeep)

 

-4-Wheel-drive is stuck on 4 high so it guzzles my gas alright.

 

-180k Miles.

 

 

 

Although that is pretty good for a 1995 model.

 

 

 

Thank god I passed, now I'm going to get my new Plates at teh DMV this weekend. I've been thinking, should I get custom made plates? If so what should I put? haha I've always wanted them.

 

 

 

***AWESOME NEWS!***

 

I drew my first blood today! Took awhile to find the dogs vein but I got it and succeeded!! It was on a blond lab named Ducky He's awesome. Although a sad thing about Ducky, is that a few weeks ago, he jumped out of the owners car on the HIGHWAY and a car ran over his left leg, and had to dis-member it. But he's doing awesome!

[hide=Blog Entry #6 7/25/09]I found a stray kitten this morning, and I've been taking care of it all day! It's a tiger striped, its extreme cute and awesome! I found this bugger eating out of the stray food dishes we leave behind the hospital. We leave food & water of there because theres like 10-20 strays out back in the woods. People from the appartments dump them there when they move. I thought she'd be too young to be out alone so I'm currently fostering it!

 

 

 

Sad news is after it's fecal, it had coccidia, a multi-parasite - although it's easy to get rid of. Not too worried about it. I cannot keep the kitteh, so unfortunately I'll have to get someone to adopt him. I'll keep you guys updated on her.

 

 

 

I still need a name! post of ideas for me!!

[hide=Blog Entry #7 7/26/09]Finally, I have a day off, even tomorrow too!

 

 

 

I'm kind of worried about my chow x, Molly. She has had heartworms for the past 7-10 months. Exactly a month from tomorrow, we've known she had it. We got her on heartworm treatment a few days after we knew. It sure did cost a lot, but thanks to me 50% discount it helped a lot. For those who don't know the treatment, they get two strong shots to help kill off the worms. The dog cannot exercise for a whole month. If her heart beats fast, the worms can escape to her whole body, and eventually kill her. So tomorrow she's getting her last shot, then gere getting her on heartworm preventitives.

 

 

 

Just make sure all your dogs are on preventitives!!! The treatment can be as high as $800...

 

 

 

 

 

I still need help finding a name for the stray kitten I found yesterday, so if you have a good name for a female grey & black tiger, that'd help a lot! Totally clueless right now. She'll be getting her treatment with Coccidia, monday so she should be fine for now on! Then I'll have to give her away... :cry: (For a picture see #6)

 

 

 

This morning I went out on the lake. My boat is still under repair, because we didn't winterise it. But we went out on my mom's friend's boat. Wasn't really hot, butthe water was freakin cold. Stupid thing we saw, was a couple brought there English Bull Dog out to swim, without a life vest. I feel sorry for that dog. Barely got any sun either! It was cloudy off & on so the sun rarely came out. After we got home from the lake, around Noon, I went to work for a few hours. Recently starting on my dogs, we have a greyhound downstairs named Belle. One of my favorite dogs! She was so excited when she saw me, her tail wagged so happy, it kept beating on the concreat kennel. The tail split open from being hit too hard, and blood was EVERYWHERE! We had to call a doctor in to help us with her.

 

 

 

Belle is fine now, everytime she comes into board, however - we'll need to tape her tail up in vet-wrap. (Just like a brace)

[hide=Blog Entry #9 7/28/09]Very long, boring day. Began my day waking up and taking Molly to the vet for the rest of her heart worm treatment. She'll be fine, now she's on preventatives. Annoyed teh crap out of everyone, it seems though.

 

 

 

Following the vet, I went to the license bureau to renew my tags. I didn't get custom, I just got ordinary 2-yr plates. I went there exactly when they opened, to beat the crowd. Only had to wait about 5-10 minutes!

 

 

 

I placed my clothing-orders on the sites now. Hot Topics turned out fine. But Rockablila's...I accdiently messed up the address. I was two numbers off the home address, so I tried to call them to fix it, but they closed at 7PM! (8:30pm when I called) So now I have to wait until tomorrow after 10. I hope this gets fixed, I'm going to be sooo pissed if it doesn't deliver here. Sorry for the short blog today, kinda anxious to call them back to make sure, because that order was $100 worth of clothes.[/hide]

Well that was something I thought, too. But I like creating blogs, gives me something to do, and things to rant about instead of taking it out on others elsewhere.
