I mean there's no real way to guage whether a person is "good" or not. Each person has their own techniques and characters they probably use. The only real way to find out would be to actually fight each other and obviously the winner would be better.

Ugh, I despise Yoshi's double jump! I always play with Ness or Ganon/Captain Falcon. Only difference between Ganon and Falcon is that Ganon is slower. Their moves are the same though :P

Ganon is stronger and his punch can stun a little.

i used to play before i sold my gamecube, i remember a rumor that you could unlock DBZ characters if you killed like 20 or so people on cruel mode polygons or something of that nature. tried for like weeks but never did it, closest was around 15 with pikachu.

Sadly I have not been able to play Melee with other humans. Because of this, it is my second favourite GC game, F-Zero GX being first. I'm sure SSBM would be first if I could play it with other people though :wink:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My character in SSB was Link. They made him slower and heavier in melee though, not as nimble as I would like.. so I had to switch over to another sword-wielding character, Marth. Theres not much to do against bots.. I can shorthop and wavedash, but there is no point against the AI so I am not well practised in it. I occasionally face off against an AI captain falcon, and either down+a/blue [bleep]e him to death, or defeat him pascifist-style (he is prone to side+B suiciding off the edge).

Meh, I've had fun with it. Unlocked all extra characters and maps and all that... I guess my favourite character would have to be Link, but against my younger brothers it would have to be Ganondorf, just because they're slow as hell :P

Nope. I got about 45 with Jigglypuff, and nothing. Besides, why would you want lame DBZ characters in SSBM?

Dam I havent played that game in literally about 2 years :shock: *reminds me to by SSBM* I remember enjoying alot when I played it but I dont think I was too good :oops:

The quickest character in SSBM, and you just can't touch his awesome smash upkick. Dammm...

I am a Super Smash Bros. Melee MASTER! The character I play with the most is Falco. :D I have people from school walk up to me alot and challenge me to a match. :D I've beaten them all so far.
