Yes, if you obliterate a planet into little bits it'll be "gone" if you attempt to destroy an island you'll just sink it into the ground slightly.

Lol, your reason for not wanting destruction of planets is so that you don't have to update the map.

We can already crash spaceships into planets, which would wipe out all life on them. My bomb isn't for destroying entire planets though.

In that case he could only find a big stellar map with planets and say that anyone who destroy a planet/sun has to cross that planet/system out themselves.

It isn't necceseraly an arms race just because you don't post cultural events, I have so far only made one thing that can be considered military and that is the fighter in my sig.
