Germania is also take big steps to bolster its economy, with dozens of production facilities springing up all across the empire, and a dedicated effort being made to improve roads, living conditions, and job opportunities in our African territories. Oh and Trol, you missed that little country in Africa I have, right above Sri Lanka's Gabon. From pg 136 And to Rpg: I've already expressed interest in the TeraVenger program, so Germania has allocated $200b in funds to the project. My space station will be complete in 3 years or so, and it could be constructed there. Just in case you forgot Rpg. I think Aether sent some money into it as well. I apreciate the fact that you ignored the tacked on flag, Trol, but you also updated the map where I didn't have the correct borders :-# Penguin's map was fine with Dusty's fine tuned border update. Maybe I should make a damn flag since you all seem to have one. And yes, Dusty i realize jillions of moneys were poured into the project. Research was finished a while back and that's why I'm starting production on the first one. Won't be done for a while though (the thing is friggin' huge). [hide=New Map][/hide] Just press Prnt Scrn on your keyboard and crop the image for the flag. Resize it in Powerpoint and save it. Then, copy and paste part of a map image onto that area of the map, rebuilding the borders. Then, recolour it all and add the new flag. Luxembourg's main territory in Africa's borders are different in the maps that I'm posting, and the one that Dusty posted - which one is correct? Not hard to change at all so just let me know if I'm doing it wrong. And there are some random other odds and ends that I tried fixing up, but whatever. But it's all good. Whoever updates it next can just do those things. I kind of forgot that I own a nation (or six) in the excitement of making maps (I [bleep]ing love making maps :) ). As expected, a large number of people have migrated from my new territories to Taiwan (I want to say mainland Taiwan, but that wouldn't be correct and that's just funny in comparison to mainland China). Still, a few schools have been put up, they look to be fairly successful. I'm strongly emphasizing education throughout my republic. I think Swaziland (borders South Africa and New Luxembourg) is an independent nation with absolute monarchy. It's poor as hell, though, and it is rampant with AIDs. [hide=updated map][/hide] Changes: Added Bangladesh to Germania Recoloured Japan Fixed some of the lines along the map in Brazil that got messed up when Peru was removed Germania news: Bangladesh is being brought up to date on Germanian tech, and Germanian agricultural improvements have been given to their farmers. Roads are being worked on and factories built. Germania has also sent over 250,000 troops to Bangladesh to serve as its defense force, with the Banglese(sp?) military to integrate with it. Germania has also started a project on Haven planning for another human biological alteration to allow for survival in extremely toxic environments, which should be great for military HAZMAT units, civilian jobs that deal with dangerous chemicals, or colonization efforts on toxic planets. And I've put together a list of countries that are leaders in certain tech fields: Norway - Military aviation tech & unmanned aircraft Germania - Biological engineering Brazil - Spaceship development Aether - Artificial Intelligence Luxembourg - Cloning Jerusalem - Implausible planes Findenland - Cooking recipes (lol?) Malaysia - Walker tech/heavy military vehicles Sri Lanka - Extra-planetary bases (the moon bases) Russia - Satellite tech Oh and to Penguin: Can you just use MS paint for the maps? Photoshop has a tendency to provide better texturing for lines and whatnot that you add in, but since we're dealing with lots of solid colours here, it'll end up screwing with things (like, to re-fill Gabon with a different colour right now would be annoying, since you'd have to do it pretty much pixel by pixel). Yea, sure. If you can believe it, I'm awful with Paint but alright with Photoshop, which was mainly why I was letting you guys do the maps before. But when Rpg wanted the new borders in Africa, I decided that it would be much easier in Photoshop, since the modern-day borders had been erased. I'm laying down plans for Project Half Life.
