Hydrocarbons. Which is [X]CH4 I think. I don't think there is currently any way to convert organic mass into hydrocarbons. Also, I believe that around 90% of plastics on the market come from oil?

Actually real techs that do that in mere minutes have been made, although the quantity isn't big enough for consumer products. The same place can also make small diamonds out of burned toast.

Yeah, I meant on a large scale.

I know the place you're talking about.

Hex, monomolecular wire is just impossible.

I did a lot of research on that when I first watched Hellsing, since I wanted to know if it was possible in real life.

As it turns out, its not.

Whichever anchor you use on the end would snap the wire in half due to its weight, no matter how small, there would be no realistic way to control it and it would basically shred everything on the battlefield (Including your own ships)

And you can't just superheat graphite, you have to put huge, huge, huge amounts of pressure on it as well as superheating it.

Oh ok, it just looks SO COOL!

and one molecule is impossible but a couple of them is possible and i've seen razor sharp wire and been cut on it before and bloody hell it hurts, it cuts through your skin like a butter knife. I have been looking for the same thing ever since.

oh yeh, I forgot to put the part about pressure but I knew honest.

Cheese wire is essentially that.

Except I don't think any kind of wire would just be able to cut through metal unless it was on a cycle (Like a chainsaw of wire)

I learned the word vagina in grade 1, give it a rest

??

We weren't talking about vagina's reported.

I LOVE YOU!!!! *Hugs ross.*

I've been looking for that for..... you don't know how long, and if it was harder, harder packed atoms would work it could cut quite well. and with nanotech I could even make it melt through things.

You report him for typing vagina, and yet you say "*rapes ross*", that's perfectly logical. vagina is more offensive than rape by far.

Wow. Lots can happen when one is gone for 18 hours.

Anyways, daily update time:

Acceleration Engine: 16/18

Electric Shield: 16/20

New Hope Space Station: 16/27

TONSIL: 9/10

Project Freon: 7/15

Station at Oruguma:5/6 (I rounded it up so I don't have to keep track of post times)

Military Pods: 4/18

Colony on Zhoeruc: 3/4

Miners: 1/5

Travel Pods: 1/6

Another section of New Hope is up, containing various small things needed for a semi-comfortable life.

Ion Weponry project is finished, and a dozen ion cannons have been fitted to the latest Mini-Hope. Specs for the cannon have been sent to all my other ships and colonies in hopes that they will have the resources for them.

My people have landed on Zhoreuc and have begun establishing a colony, as well as having built a small factory and shipyard. This colony's growth rate will be 4%, as they need to keep the colony alive and well. I don't really care where on the map they land, someone just put them there for me as I feel too sick to mess with a map.

Research begins on automated miners. These miners will take a year to research, 3 years to program, and a final two years to build and begin production. It will cost around $5 billion overall. They will be able to identify and collect a kilogram of rare, semi-rare, and useful minerals, such as gold, coal, and cryonite, and drill about 1000 feet before needing maintenance. They will be able to be transported singularly in a transport pod, mentioned later. During the project, 20 of these will be made on Earth. After the project is complete, my factory on Earth will be able to make 20 of these per year, my factory on Zhoreuc will be able to make 5 per year, costing roughly $10 million apiece. The number produced on Zhoreuc will probably increase once more minerals have been found.

Research has begun also on a small transport pod for use of transporting small samples of materials to laboratories. This will cost about $1 bil per year, and will be able to carry about 20kg of materials at FTL speed without having to move the location of any ships. It will take 1 year for research, 2 years to fit the warp drives into the pods, and 3 years to begin production. During research, 5 of these will be constructed. After research, my factory on Earth will be able to make 2 per year, and the factories on Zhoreuc and Oruguma Station will be able to produce 1 per year.

The station orbiting Oruguma is nearly complete, and the two New Hopes sent to oversee the construction have begun to return to Earth to be retrofitted with new tech. The Oruguma station currently has 1,000 people, and will have a growth rate of .2% so as to not overuse oxygen.

All equipment has begun modifications to allow it to be run by the conscious fluids. Modification have also begun being made to the ion cannon so that it can be semi-automated with a conscious fluid at its core, controlling aim, motors at the base of the cannons, etc. Approximately 50 of these ion cannon militia can be recruited per year.

The Freon scientists are now working on a different species. Napta has begun government-run production and sale of conscious-fluid pets, with 70% of money coming from them going to the government. $285 million a year is produced by this, and $200 million of it goes to the government.

I also figured I should put some stats for the conscious fluids:

They have a high reproduction rate due to the nature of their death. 7.5%, to be exact. They currently have a population of only 100, due to the fact that they were only recently engineered from clones.

Dang that was a lot.

pie, your playing with a non-existant economy. its not fair because most other people are.

Do you WANT me to post all the stats I've had since I started? Because I can, and they will add up just fine.

And my economy isn't non-existent, it's just boosted by the extra 50m a year Dusty's giving me. Ty again for that, btw.

Wait a minute. I sense bribery....

Also, I make all my projects able to fit within my budget. If someone who's proved to be reasonable (Dusty, Sere, Doom....) can say that one/some of them need to be more expensvie, then by all means, I'll make it more expensive and temporarily stop other projects so that it still fits in my budget.

I would like to remind people that it takes 1 year to speed up from warp and 1 year to slow down

Thus as I am pulling my ships out of mat's and hex's system I can do it relatively safely as dusty isnt there yet.

Also mather you might not want to count your "attack" as A~you used fission nukes and B~ If you can move troops without posting my ships would have simply moved from their current orbit.

Nope, your playing with a non existant economy or researching things at EXTREMLY low costs.

"you playing with no economy! That no fair!"

"Reasonable response...."

"you still playing with no economy! And cba to provide any proof! Or any positive suggestions as towards what you might change!"

They were not fission nukes, they were controllable hit'n run(no missiles working in the same manner has existed so I name it) smart-missiles containing a one gramm nuclear warhead each. Also I posted that I moved the cloaked ships into orbit, I posted it in a mail to someone I trusted(Hex), just like we are supposed to do with "secret" action and projects.

Putting shield over in stand-by, ready to deploy at any sight of danger, allowing me to let the houndred-year ZPM developement use more than the current ZPMs power.

I start work on a large-scale PEP weapons mounted a little above the middle of each wall of my pyramid(main building).

you do not have fusion triggers ergo they are fission nukes and against the rules of the game.

The harvester ship with absurd armour was built and dove straight into the neasrest gas giant.

Large rocks containing a new metal [/bandwagon] have been found, early tests of this material show it to be highly radioactive, with its main radiation being Beta, with an average stability and a fairly long half life (550 years or so from very early analysis)

It will be used instead of Plutonium 239 on the inner coating of my ship.

I'm calling it Nerexcite.

Other uses (If there are any, it seems to be a rather bland metal, average conductivity, average durability, slight magnetivity) are being looked into now.

Yes I do.

No need to type in entire capitals and bold the entire sentance either.

I was just trying to get it through your skull.

And now, he has stated that he understands my statement and the point I am trying to make, but yet has still not told me what I should do differently. I believe that is called a "Fail."

Guest Mrmegakirby

Biological warfare research is going along nicely.

Growth rate is currently 3%

Nearly all of Yexenus is colonized.

Just an update.
