The point was he left some of his people there.

Tip.it was down all yesterday and today :'(

Ion research continues. I've decided that my full population of 260million-ish has now reached Harakkis. Some have taken private shuttles to Uthiah.

The base on Ogrekus has expanded further.

I'm back in the NWO.

Of course not. That would be cowardly.

Haha you just called Rocco a coward.

I was referring to your ready built fortifications - the asteroid fields.

Oh, you mean the asteroids that I'm moving into Yggdrasil's system?

Yes, I agree with you on this point. But making up new powerful metals is a similar problem, but whatever, this isn't important.

It's not all powerful, projectile weapons will still mess it up badly.

So you're godmodding to keep up with everyone? What?

I believe the word you are looking for is building. Or, alternatively, producing. If that is the case, then yes, I am building ships in order to keep up with everyone. What a stellar observation Dungeonal.

No, you won't, because you get angry with us when we type BS so you won't do it either.

I let pass quite a lot of BS in this thread actually. And I love how you use the royal "we".

You want people to play fair, not godmod, be sensible etc, you have to do it as well.

I'm playing quite fair. Genetics and Bio engineering are my dominant strength, yet I can't use them? Hm.

And yes, I can get 1b people in around 7 years. Considering I have a base population on 1b+, and then you just add on all the other factors for population growth that I have going.

Am I the only one with the same budget?

Haven't had any boosts to it.

What do you mean? Your budget changes every year unless you dont earn or lose any money

I don't know how to work it out.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Oh my, aren't I a bad person.

Oh, you mean the asteroids that I'm moving into Yggdrasil's system?

Asteroid fields are popping up all around Yggdrasil's system

Sorry, I missed the class where we learnt that "popping up" means "I'm moving something over here".

Super.

Nope, mine are just as powerful as they were before, I just need to keep up with the amount of ships everyone is building. And the 1.6tril accounts for Earth GDP only. :)

No, I definitely meant godmodding. I assumed that your spaceships has cost more than 100b each, considering mine cost between 300 and 400. I'm apologise for this misunderstanding. However, logically, my battlecruisers will be, in more respects than not, superior to yours, according this data? Yes, money isn't everything, but as you state later in your post, your specialties are "Genetics and bio engineering".

I let pass quite a lot of BS in this thread actually. And I love how you use the royal "we".

Then don't, comment on it, take your anger out on the person BSing and not on the thread as a whole.

Are we allowed to pay high one off payments for single techs?

No, thats [developmentally delayed]ed, a high budget in one tech will decrease the years, by like 5

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

I posted about moving them a while ago. But sure, let's continue to debate the choice of words when the meaning has been explained already quite clearly.

Thanks for asking,

The choice of wording is quite important. It's my opinion if that if I, or someone outside your alliance web had posted what you did, you would have thrown up a [cabbage]storm if they were as unclear as you.

Nope. Actually you don't have any spaceships.

Stop being butthurt because Sere liked me enough to want more of an alliance than just "yeah okay let's share tech woop", or because I actually bother to argue with you.

I am taking my anger out on the thread as a whole? How, pray tell?

Dusty, come on, 1 out of 3 of your posts are full of anger.

Quite an advancement, eh?

Forgot one thing earlier;

The Goa'uld queens spawned 50 new symbiotes this year(they can give birth to 100 each actually but you would just complain if they spawned over 100% of current ammount), these will soon mature in enough to do the prim'ta(be inserted in Jaffa(increasing theur ammount) and later take hosts.

Yes, because me saying "I'm moving asteroids into my system to create defensive positions", and then later posting an update for the project, is unclear.

Stop being butthurt because Sere liked me enough to want more of an alliance than just "yeah okay let's share tech woop", or because I actually bother to argue with you.

Hm? I was just reminding you that you don't actually have anything (land, people, ships) on this thread, since Sere owns it all.

Dusty, come on, 1 out of 3 of your posts are full of anger.

Agreed. I'm not taking it out on the thread though

When all else fails, joke.

I didn't quite feel like explaining it for a 16th time. Oh, will you ever forgive me?

Fact is, I had no idea what your real meaning was, so yes, it was unclear.

Hm? I was just reminding you that you don't actually have anything (land, people, ships) on this thread, since Sere owns it all.

If that's how you choose to interpret our 'agreement', however, this isn't really the case at all.

Agreed. I'm not taking it out on the thread though

I don't see your logic here. If you're posting, angrily, then yeah, you are taking it out on the thread.

Maybe then, instead of crying "Godmod!!" and getting all butthurt about it, actually ask? I know, I just blew your mind, didn't I?

If that's how you choose to interpret our 'agreement', however, this isn't really the case at all.

That's exactly what it is. You're a protectorate. Or if you want to go with slang, then you're Sere's [bleep]. I'm just pointing out the obvious here, no need to get snarky.

In practice, a protectorate often has direct foreign relations only with the protecting power, so other states must deal with it by approaching the protector. Similarly, the protectorate rarely takes military action on its own, but relies on the protector for its defence. This is distinct from annexation, in that the protector has no formal power to control the internal affairs of the protectorate.

I don't see your logic here. If you're posting, angrily, then yeah, you are taking it out on the thread.

*sigh*

Treat others how you would like to be treated, Dusty. You moan about people's godmods, 'sarcastically' stick them into your own posts, and except us to sift through the [cabbage] to find what you really mean.

A protectorate, in international law, is an autonomous territory that is protected diplomatically or militarily against third parties by a stronger state or entity

Pretty sure that the Japanese 'state' is stronger than the Britannian one, but really, this is just you trying to piss me off.

*sigh*

"Want to have a fair discussion? TOO BAD IT'S ME DUSTY."

How about this: Do you actually use a formula to work out your Midgard growth rate, or just pick a random number from your head and think to yourself, "Yeah, that looks big enough." ?

I'm moaning about people's godmods? You have amnesia or something? The only thing that I found stupid was the magical creation of systems, or the "discovery" of them.

Then why did you become part of his empire?

This is a perfectly fair discussion. Just because I don't feel like repeating myself you're getting mad?

If I had a formula would you accept it anyways? No. Why the hell would I bother figuring out the exact number?

Wouldn't most of your people be like 1-4 year olds? Meaning that you can't take GPD from them, and I'm guessing that there isn't enough food on the planet since, y'know, babies can't farm things.

Regardless of that, I'm still not accepting your "I'm going to add however many people I want to my population" theory.

And stop trying to provoke dungeon with the whole protectorate thing, the reason they joined forces was so that the unused budget that either one had could be spent by the other. Dungeon CAN mobilise his military without Sere's permission, but he would have to get Sere's permission to mobilise the BRITANNIAN MILITARY.

And don't try to deny that you are trying to provoke him, because Sere and Dungeon's alliance is totally irrelevent at this point.

Food is shipped in from Birfrost. And I'm not taking GDP from them.

If I was adding as many people as I wanted Midgard would be at a trillion pop right now.

Of course I'm provoking him. I want this inevitable war to hurry up and get started, because the thread is getting [bleep]ing boring.

Personal insults are not the right way to go about that, in my eyes.

And you are essentially adding a random number of people to your population each year.

There is no growth rate, no formula, you just seem to pick and choose a random number.

My population started adult, like everone elses(?).(?)=Unsure of the spelling

I never said I could ad as many people I want, I said that Goa'ulds are able to actually reproduce with a rate of 100 symbiotes per queen but that I will not add more than max 50% of the population. And in one or so year the symbiotes can take Jaffa "incubators" and 19 years after that their own hosts.

Then why did you become part of his empire?

Seemed like a good idea at the time. I liked the prospect of 'our' 'colour' being more widespread. My green was ugly. I'm British.

This is a perfectly fair discussion. Just because I don't feel like repeating myself you're getting mad?

I do not remember ever seeing you admit you have been wrong. How can a discussion be fair when you refuse to back down?

If it was a logical formula, why do you think I would illogically reject it?

I don't admit I'm wrong when I'm right.

Fine then.

Normal growth rate: 4%

Drug that increases probability of twins/triplets/quintuplets = Growth rate of around 12%.

Drug that increases ferility rate (babies take 3 months, rather then 9) = Growth rate of 48%

Immigration from other nations adds another 3-4%, let's say (considering that if you're a citizen of the Federation you get access to tremendous bio enhancements) = Growth rate of 52%

Huge incentives to reproduce adds another say 2% or so. Growth rate = 54%.

New lands that are granted according to family size adds another 1%. Growth rate = 55%.

Immigration from Federation land in Earth as well as government relocation to alleviate over-population (parts of Africa, and Bangladesh) adds another say 5%. Growth rate = 60%.

AI cargivers that allow for parents to have more kids and still go to work, or have them help with taking care of the kids adds another say 4%.

So 64% for Midgard.

Happy?
