Deltaer
I know there's a correlation between your combat lvl and the drops you get (if anyone wants to question that, there's even a quote somewhere in the Manual on the official site - and it makes sense)... but is there one with other skills? For example, with thieving (and perhaps someone should confirm this if they can), if your lvl is higher, and you're pickpocketing the master farmer, you're more likely to get valuable seeds.. e.g. I'm at 55ish thieving, I'll pickpocket for an hour and get a few guam seeds and nothing higher... while someone who I was talking to who had 88 thieving, gains 20-30 ranarr seeds a day pickpocketing farmers. Is it the same with... say, ab spectres (or chaos druids or whatever) and herb drops? Higher herb level means better herb drops? For those of you who have leveled herblore drastically before, have you noticed a change in the herb drops? If that's the case, I think I may have finally found a reason to level herblore (I think it's a cool skill, but it's practically the least economically efficient skill in the game)... Discuss. Michaael
I'm pretty sure monster drops are a percentage not affected by your combat lv. Provide the quote if you can 5,693rd to 99 Slayer on 10/08/2009

Smackapotato
As much as I think this would be a very interesting idea to implement, I doubt the truth behind your statement. EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.

Toad
Only reason you can really say "correlation between monster drop and skill/combat level" Especially with combat level simply the fact higher combat levels 130+ have killed way more, I've NEVER had a hilt at godwars so that's pretty much a 138 who hasn't had the so called luck, as for skill level and luck.. it simply doesn't exist. Toad
Pics or it didn't happen. Also the fact of the exaggeration to emphasise his point, 2-3 ranarr seeds in an hour is rediculous, 88 thieving against 55, 88 fails alot less on master farmers. Simply not true though if it meant higher levels got better loot from skills I'm all for it I huggeth the pixels.

Jeda45
There are many factors in what you get from any skill. Such as: Time of day Time spent playing Number of people playing RoW I am almost sure of such- in the mid-afternoon in a world based in the same time-zone as I, I got 50k worth of herbs from Chaos Druids. That night, I got less than 20K. Similar time spent playing, same outfit, same world, etc. In the evening between 8:00 and 9:00, I got 2 clues from Harpy bugs. After spending an hour doing the same thing later that night, I got none. The next morning, I got a clue after 3 drops. Though, the reward stank. Addy dagger, 19 nats, green D'hide chaps ( sans trim or gold trim). Like 5k worth of stuff, previous eve yielded Guthix page and Green D'hide chaps (gold-trimmed) Plus lots of addy and runes. If you jump into a river in Paris, you're insane. If you jump into a river in Egypt, you're in denial.

What the [bleep] is wrong with you people?! There is no determining factor on LUCK... as it is so named. Seriously.. Time of day, combat level, what your eating for breakfast the day of, and what color underwear you're wearing have no effect on drops so stop. Although having a girl character does give u better drops. This is proven
