Dire_Wolf Posted August 11, 2009 Share Posted August 11, 2009 OK. Elysian shield cost over 300M. But here is the catch, you have to pick a item: Elysian shield or a Dragon defender. The Dragon defender have not been made so just imagen it. ONLY you will have the Dragon defender (Noone else in Runescape). So what item would you choose based on usefulness (Not rareness, because you being only player with Dragon defender is very very very rare). So choose! I would go with Dragon defender. Zaaps1 Posted August 13, 2009 Share Posted August 13, 2009 The stats of the dragon defender are...? Well let's think of it this way: In most places, you can get along fine without an ESS or DSS. Even at boss monsters, they're pretty unnecessary. You don't need the extra defense, since you can get along fine without it (unless your defense is really low and the rest of your armor is like...adamant or something...). However, you can never get too much attack or strength when fighting high level monsters. There is no "good" high level monster a player can 1HKO or 2HKO outside of special attacks and Dharoks (which you can't count because both of those require 2-h weapons, meaning you can't equip a shield, making this whole argument useless). Also, while there are monsters with low defense, most high level monsters will cause you to miss a few times. Any and all attack/strength boost is useful. ~It's Super Effective!
