Why be abused because people can spell?

I hate random pures in general, most of them are arrogant and annoying, and think that they are better than everybody else becuase they maxed one stat. However there are some cool pures out there, not trying to be biased or anything.

I hate random mains in general; most of them are arrogant, annoying, and think that they are better than everybody else because they have maxed melee stats. However, there are some cool mains out there, so I am not trying to be biased or anything.

everyone must type in flawless English

"Wats afk i dont speak ur turbo nerd language"

lmfao, I'm going to have to use that line sometime. Thanks for the inspiration.

The point is not how rude pures are (I've come across many nice ones), but for someone to go all out and start being extremely rude to me because I can spell correctly, and prefer people to UNDERSTAND what I'm typing - isn't that a bit to OTT?

wets ott i dont speak ur turbo nerd language?!?!?@@@@@@@##

jkjk. I've personally never been insulted because of the way I chat online -- not that I remember of anyway. However, when you type in complete sentences, etc. you might seem as a bit of a snob because the way you type stands out (like people who type everything w/ 'white:' before it; dunno if you've met anyone like this before)

So erm, BTW, what's OTT?

Speling is nrd lul get a life prolly fat 50 y/o guy in yo mama's basment R O F L!!

I love what he just said here. =D>

Strange, I don't remember typing that. I could have sworn that I was quoting somebody else there.

I was quoting them in order to demonstrate how the quote feature can be manipulated.

Eh, thanks for reinforcing my point, I suppose.

I know what you mean, but you have to admit that sometimes its a little annoying when you see people speaking as if they lived in the 18th century you know? There's a difference between that and having good grammar... he probably thought you thought you were "high and mighty" because you were pretty rude, i know you apologised afterwards... it was probably just a misunderstanding lol

I think you got trolled.

I may be the only one slightly against this, but heres my view on it.

When in rome, do as the romans do.

When surfing the interwebs, do as the surfers do.

I guess what im trying to say is, English and internet speak are two different languages.Getting annoyed at the fact that someone says u/ur or pl0x,plz is just like being irked by the fact that people in mexico say si instead of yes. I'm no spelling/grammar wizard, I admit that, but using correct english in an online game where communication skills don't need to be honed as much as real life to speak to one another seems pointless to me.

Still, those pures were being stupid as usual.Pleople who paint false pictures of social groups like that should be erased.

BTW, im pretty sure there are grammatical/spelling errors in this post. :(

Unfortunetly, in today's society, children are growing up in an evironment where, with the internet chat speak and everything else, they are learning that it is acceptable to spell or speak incorrectly.

The problem with this, is really, it is not. They will grow up and be thrown into the world of business and professionalism and realize that the way they spell and speak will be extremely important to the matter of how well they perform in their careers. At the ripe, young age of 15, though, they don't know this yet. They're taught grammar, spelling and reading in school, but a lot of kids now-a-days don't take their schooling seriously anyway. They don't see the point to it.

Really, guys, it's all about electronics and television and video games. It's causing a surge of laziness and low self-standards that really, especially 50 years from now, is going to become worse and worse of an issue.

Perhaps they felt inferior to you because you had better grammar, either that or they're just a bunch of 10-year-olds.

Honestly, I'd rather use good grammar with an occasional 'how are u' but I don't like to write those atrocities. I just don't

I just turn my private off when I hear stupid spelling. I can't stand constant abbreviation. And that guy was definitely not 21 years old.
