August 31, 200916 yr I wouldn't. I've grown used to my name, and don't plan to change it. Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

August 31, 200916 yr I like my name, but being that we'd be able to make a new account and then change the name to include special characters, I'd probably try to get some combination of exclamation points and question marks. I have a feeling that you won't be able to have only special characters though... Also, I had Blitters, Blatters, Bletters, and Blotters, which were all lost quite a while ago. This will give me a chance to get back those names, which I had actually planned to do something with.
August 31, 200916 yr If they allowed full UTF characters, I would probably take the official symbol for "Makoto" (in my sig since I can't guarantee that the board will support it or you guys won't see a weird box). If not, I don't think I'd change it. "Makoto D" has a fair bit of history behind it, and I wouldn't want to nuke that. But if they do, they'd better give regular players the right click report functionality that player mods already have. It's difficult enough now having to type in some people's names into the report field without throwing all the other keys on the keyboard into it, or god forbid, the entire ASCII/UTF range.
