Yup, that's kinda depressing. Used to happen to me all the time back in my forum games days.

I definitely agree with you that the flood control is irksome.. but I have experienced both sides of it. It helps the moderators a lot with spammers.

Nah you don't. Look on their post where their name is. See the little icon right next to their name (), click it. If they have an updated status, it will show there.

Even the skin Deflection is getting me down. Perhaps I'm too attached to looks. The board is excellent though. Not loving the look.

Last time it changed I was the same way.

 

Give it a month or two and then this will become the best look.

I do that sometimes, I will open up all the new threads and just go through them.

Yeah, this happens to me quite often in Off-Topic. Did it get longer or something (I haven't read the entire 6 pages)? I enjoy the Deflection theme, as the white is too bright for my taste.

I think it got shorter, or stayed the same.

I don't think it got longer, it just wasn't there for a while when the forums got updated, so we were posting like every 15 seconds.

I'm sort of figuring this out now, and rofl at the little twitter button. I like deflection, everything is shiny, and the names of topics are all indented looking.

I don't like how you can't start typing out your post unless you use that little box in the bottom, within the fourty-five seconds, but it used to be a minute I think, so it's faster I believe. I missed out on when everyone started to post, I was taking a nap. :-( Bad smileys now too.

They aren't that bad, just some are missing. I want a section where I can add my own smilies so I don't have to keep uploading them and using new links every time I want to use one.

I like the Deflection skin. Hopefully more similar skins will be added.

There is no way that I can see to preview sig changes before submitting. [bleep] that. Otherwise, everything is fine, nothing is ruined....
