In terms of features - IPB has more. In terms of speed - IPB matches vBulletin. In terms of looks - IPB beats the hell out of vB. If you actually do a comparison of the two boards (and yes I have used both), IPB beats vB hands down, have you seen their next major version upgrade as well? It's pretty bad...
