Cleancut is so easy on the eyes, prefer it over the dark one.

Is there anything that anyone likes/doesn't like about the forum that has to do with the usability of the skins and not the actual functionality of the forum? It would be interesting to make a skin that TIF likes and not one that somebody else thinks is best.

Before you answer: If it has something to do with, for example, some feature of the actual forum (Like, say, friend requests) then I can't change that. If you, say, didn't like the fact that when you forum jump that you have to press the "Go" button- I can change that.

Definitely do that. I always forget to hit 'go'.

I agree, it looks pretty decent.

Personally I don't like the shininess of everything though, I'd prefer a much simpler, more elegant and less bulky interface. I'm not a fan of the font sizes of everything (topic titles, usernames, etc.) either, everything is so big. Is that something you would be able to change dsavi?

Yeah, the attempted glossyness is really overkill, everything looks like plastic, especially in this bad excuse for a dark skin. (Racism! :o ) Yes, I can change pretty much anything when it comes to how it actually looks. Some of the font sizes, choices and placement are pretty weird and impractical.

Unrelated: I like the fact that you can change the font within an individual post, although it doesn't let me choose everything.

Did you get that from my post elsewhere when I was complaining about it  .

That was really my only complaint about the forums. I'd actually use the Lo.Fi. style if it had the dropdown choice to get to other forums, and also a "view new posts" button. So if you had something like that in mind, or are able to change that, it would be awesome. It might ruin the point of that particular skin though.

Bear in mind the Lo-fi Skin is made for phones and is supposed to be completely usable with no JavaScript whatsoever. If you visit the forum on most phones, it will automatically assign you the Lo-fi Skin to ensure compatibility (and less bandwidth used).

Ahh, I didn't realize that. I've never had a portable device able to get on the Web so I always forget about the mobile side of websites.

Totally agree. All of these random [wagon] gradients and shiny bars everywhere is overkill.
