I well, recently me and my neighbor decidided we wanna go ghost hunting. Im a Little skeptical about these things, I will firmly beleve when I have an encounter, or a serious case. I wanan start with the Atco Ghost, and the Carranze memorial. We WILL be heavily equipped with lightsabers,weapons, especially LOTR replicas. I wanna beleive in this but somethings telling me I cant until I see it. Orbs in pictures? I dont know what I think about that. I think theyr spirits or something, but ghosts? Im not sure. SO does anyone have legit evidence, stories, beleifs, anyhting in New Jersey I should check out, anything? Thanks for listening, and post what u think about ghosts.

Very much so. Sometimes its a joking matter but usually its not, I wanna see/ slay some ghosts(only slay if i am being seriously attacked)

The idea of ghosts began with Catholicism, who believed ghosts were the souls of those trapped in purgatory (basically a go between life and death, judgement before heaven or hell...I think? Feel free to correct this non catholic!) So if you want to hunt those ghosts I suggest you let their souls rest.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, if we're talking about green slimeballs or ghosts causing mischief, forget your lightsaber dude! What you need is a proton pack, a vacuum cleaner and a catchy theme tune!

Lol. Have fun! I've had a few paranormal encounters... Seeing things, hearing things, and just sensing that you're not alone even though you think you are. I find the paranormal very fascinating and a few friends of mine and I usually like to try and go out ghost-hunting around this time of year. :D

If anything plastic lightsabers will do the trick.

I been watching T.A.P.S for 3 hours now. I really want some paranormal encounters now. I really need some, Im curious, super scared now, Ill have to go buy a Viking Helmet now incase they throw stuff at me. I will also need ninja stars now. Scary!

I've been watching Ghost Hunters too. :D The new episode that comes on tonight, (8:00 in my time zone) they're going to a hotel that I've been to many many times in my life. So, I'm just sitting here right now, waiting to see this episode. I have a feeling it's going to be quite interesting.

In all those ghost hunting programmes that I've seen, all the do is go to a dark room in an old building. One person gasps because she doesn't like the dark and the hole group end up running outa the building screaming.

I forget the programme, but there was this one where a guy was possesed by a soul and started to speak. Everyone was trying to be serious about it Was the funniest peice of tv I think I've ever seen! :P

Just a little inside information here. Purgatory is often mistaken as the place you go before you are sent to Heaven or Hell but actually this isn't true. The Catholic purgatory is where people go when they are sent to Heaven, but they have to be purged of their sins before they can go.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Specifically, in Dante's Purgatory (adopted by the Catholic church for many years before it was discarded) teaches that you have to purge through different sins (the seven deadlies). This was abandoned though when they realized that Dante's version was not Biblical.

Basically they make these college students strap themselves into camera vests and do tasks in haunted buildings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hilarious, especially since half the stuff is staged (to freak out the victim).

Most Haunted is pretty laughable... I watch it all the time. They actually had a marathon on last night. I'd absolutely LOVE to go to a live recording of the show. It's so funny because you can tell that it really is a (just to help you out here. :D ) charade.
