December 4, 200916 yr With the exception of Group A and G it's looking good for all the seeded teams to make it through their group as champions. I reckon New Zealand stand a reasonable chance of getting through the group stages and I'd like to see them progress. Depending how results go we could well have Brazil vs Spain in the last 16 which would mean one of the favourites to win would go out which could be very interesting. I'll go with USA just on the basis that they are further away. Why is it that England always get easy groups in the first round anyway? They seem to have amazing luck in the group draws for tournaments...if only they had that kind luck in penalty shootouts :razz: . I think Spain will win this one, any squad that can keep Fabregas as a bench warmer is amazing. That being said, you can't count out Argentina (despite their poor qualifying form) or Brazil. I hate how lucky france were to be placed in the group with the host nation, they may aswell have been the seed of that group. I'd have liked to see them placed in a group like how Brazil and Portugal are, but possibly with Germany or Italy.
