So the fact that they don't go to school doesn't change the fact that they are uneducated and will have hard times getting jobs. Next time you should say "as smart as they would be if they were in school". I wish for an ice cube maker. Then I'd use it to fill my glass of ice cubes before I fill it of coke. EDIT: Oops, looks like I forgot to read the end of the wish that said "at all". But that doesn't matter, my corruption still stands as you said "as smart as they are now", meaning they don't get smarter.
