December 24, 200916 yr Well, I'm 90 Summoning currently, I have charms for 99 banked, but I just don't have the money to train it at the moment as I also have several other 99s banked including Prayer, Magic, Smithing, Crafting, Construction, and almost Herblore. (I plan on trying to get 5+ 99s in one day eventually) I was wondering if a Geyser titan would be worth using on tasks over a Bunyip. Or is selling something to get 95/99 worth it just for slayer, I wouldn't mind selling my DFS or something for it, I have lots of items just not a lot of cash at the moment. ========= New Question: Are the dragon slayer gloves from FOG worth using on dragon tasks? I went on a FOG rampage a few weeks ago and have a few thousand tokens just laying around.
December 24, 200916 yr Combat familiars are always good if don't need the HP (a good amount of tasks) and yes, it is worth getting passed 90. December 25, 200916 yr Get 95, the Iron Titan is epic! You can always use a combat familiar on tasks that you pray at multi-attack areas. Such at CT (Chaos Tunnels), Pollnivneach's Slayer Dungeon and others... On some tasks you'll need the bunyip, such as Fire Giants in CT, because you get piled and you might need the bunyip if you don't have a good healing source, such as Soul Split or a SGS. But seriously, if I were you I would go for 95, the iron titan is epic awesome for slayer, the special ability of attacking 3 times in a row is epic, and while the titan is out all of your melee defences will be increased in a 10% (Stab, Slash and Crush)

Except cannoning Aberrants, where you should use your best BOB.I say to bring a Combat Familiar for the first half, then on the last use the BoB to hold herbs. I just finished a task of 222 spectres in about 30 mins. When using the BoB you run the risk of it dying and dropping the loot. I rather just use a Fam to help attack and bank a few times seeing as getting back is really easy with the Rings of Slaying. Or you can bring a Macaw to help with better herb drops. Everything thing else though i agree with bladewing on. If you would need to make a bank trip without the extra healing from a healing familiar, then don't bother with the combat familiar. Also, don't rush to 95-99 if it means selling your bank out. Looking at iron titan and above I can see they have a noticable increase in power, but they aren't ALOT stronger than a geyser (geyser has ranged attacks too :P) There's problem an exception or two to this rule, like killing waterfiends in the chaos tunnels, but it's a good rule to go by. During my last fire giant task it sped up my task by 25%, mostly because of the scrolls.
