(I'd like to take the time to warn you, as a fairly friendly GM, that if you place the crystal into the other pedestal you are pretty much garuanteed death, since it doesn't deactivate the Final Guard. That said, it doesn't make it more powerful, either, and doesn't trigger a trap. However, you will need the crystal later, so taking it is a good idea.) Grim-The man doesn't seem to be in town anymore. Somebody tells you he has gone to Potsdell. Jen-You succeed, but the guards combination of weight, and spiked metal boots causes it to fail. Jen-The FInal Guard does not care for wounds or damage. As I said, it has given killing Umbra priority, and only annihilation or leaving its range will distract it.
