Håkon attempts to create an opening in the bottom of the vulcano using geomancy.

i head back up the mountain with the sonium chunk ready to be thrown in my hand.

Kemios decies to pay a visit to Jen's tower. (I do not currently intend to blow it to pieces. Yet.)

I fly over to the village, pick up Kemios, and fly him with me to the volcano.

Oi! How d'you expect me to blow up a volcano when so far, the only thing I've been able to blow up is my own arm?

I watch everyone's frantic movements and sit down for a minute to meditate, hoping to dig into the right path with my mind (aka trying predict how to proceed)

I attempt to create some enchanted stone.

You remember that volcanos generally have holes in the bottom, to let supply itself with magma.

You make it to the peak of the mountain, which seems rather quiet today.

After treking up the icy slopes, you finally make it to the top. Jen's tower still stands tall, but signs of decay are showing.

You realize that you are currently in the underworld, and Kemios is not.

You think about your mission: to bring the Ivory mage to the volcano to seal it. Then you think about how the way back is blocked by lava, and conclude it might be best to continue onward, up the trecherous mountain slopes.

You create an enchanted stone of limited magical value (what enchantment would you like?)

i try to use necro to create a set of stairs, to allow the ivory mage to reach the volacno more easily.

Kemios looks around the tower to figure out who and/or what is there.

(I'd like to make this type 1a [or highly conductive to energy/magic]) Grim attempts to do a ritual sacrificing some geomancy xp to create 5 pillars of enchanted stone and have veins of enchanted stone (type 1a) connected to the pillars extend down into the volcano.

Grasping Jen's staff, I use it as a climbing tool to make my way up to the others, chanting an accuracy enhancement charm I had read from my father's Tome of Black Magick. (Barriers/Blessing=White Charms/Power Spells=Black)

I yell to my fellow adventurers to prepare themselves for combat, and then land in front of the Ivory Mage. I trigger an avalanche on the side of the volcano, making suret to deflect the rocks away from my companions, and fly back to the village with the mage.

You begin to chant your magical spells into the rock, trying to shape it into stairs, but the natural decaying of the necromancy saps the magical energy from the rockface, causing it to begin to track. The cracks continue to grow bigger, while lava begins pouring out of them, towards the other party members.

 

-Kemios

 

You see a small cave with a wooden door hastily closed in front of it. There are a few buckets outside, as well as the ashes of a campfire and two dusty tomes strewn on the floor. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be anything else in the tower, aside from a few bookcases and stairwells.

 

-Grim

 

(You'll have to remind me. And geomancy exp sacrifice is not necessary for most things. Mainly its to give something permanency, like making a portal or creating life)

 

The enchanted stone melts quickly and seeps into the underworld. Suddenly you hear a cracking and notice that the sides of the volcano are beginning to burst. In your concentration, you failed to notice that the rock was cracking beneath you, causing you to tumble down the mountain until you are caught by Tairn.

You make a little progress before you hear cracking noises further up the volcano. As you crane your head up, you happen to notice Grim tumbling down the mountain. Thankfully, you paid attention and caught him safely.

You notice that Earth has already started something of the sort, except it includes lava. You fly back to the village with the mage, who looks exhausted by now.

Oh. Blocked. Fine then, I yell to my allies to ready themselves for combat, and draw my wings into my armour to thicken it. I use the silver dust to form a sphere around the ivory mage.

Not blocked yet, but over time it gets harder to travel over that burning corn field, but you succeeded that time. I edited it in btw.

Gazing in horror at the inevitable eruption,I quickly form Flame Wards around each party member.

... ooooopppppss. okay, i try to make a stair way that doesnt include the rock face, jsut a floating staircase. i also coat both ends of said staircase in a thin force magic barrier. (trying to make it so the others can get up the mountain)

Oooooh crap. Not good. I fly back to the volcano and rescue Iey, then Grim, then Earth.

Kemios picks up one of the tomes, then reads it as he climbs one of the staircases.

[Grim_]

Grim mutters "That will not be necessary my dear" and creates a ledge to stand on. He then attempts to summon another enourmous cold fire hawk.
