January 18, 201016 yr the warship is by far the rarest ITEM in the game.tradeable? probably pumpkin, dor or half wine. dedicate your idle computer power to a scientific project.
January 23, 201016 yr Disk of returning is the oldest rare, but warship is rare too... Either one of those two. "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. A Professional practices until he can't get it wrong." Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.
January 23, 201016 yr disk of returning is the oldest rare, but definitely not the rarest. since it was accessible for players to obtain them longer than other rares. on the contrary, the dupe in 2003 caused most wearable rares to become more common. unwearables like easters and disks were probably not effected as much. idk about rarest rare but i believe the rarest item in runescape is called "slayer cape"The Runecrafting Cape is the rarest cape....Less people have cons cape then any other. runecrafting is the rarest cape....construction is ranked 3 as the rarest cape behind herblore.
January 24, 201016 yr Odd batta, Odd crunchies, Odd cocktail, Odd gnomebowl There was absolutely no reason to have these or expect that they would no longer exist at any point. They are like half wines, but infinitely more useless.
January 24, 201016 yr Define Rare. Official Jagex Defined rare; Either half wine or a cracker. Rarest cape; Probably Slayer cape with no trim. Rare item; Warship toy. Technically... items that haven't been released yet, only Jagex Moderators can use them >.>
January 24, 201016 yr Slea Slug? It's a quest item... it's not kept but there could be definately alot out there on idle acccounts. Edit - Just noticed a double post, mods mind merging them? D:
January 28, 201016 yr Well, knock my socks off! I have some of those items you are all calling rare (Disk of Returning, Easter Egg, Red Mask, Red phat; and 3 santa hats). Different friends gave them to me years ago and I never really did any research on them....just felt good about their being gifts and enjoyed the looks of the items. Guess I ought to look into the RuneScape data base and find out something about them. (Never even heard about the "warship" until this thread; so will see if I can find that in DB too.) I am what I am! Acknowledging this is the beginning and my growth is yet to end!!

D:I have 12 of those. Not that rare. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
January 28, 201016 yr I dont think Disc of returning is as rare as say a cracker is. I would guess less then 100 crackers are out there most likely much less. As for disc of returning i remember people hoarding them because you could buy them drop them buy again and drop again and get them that way and never have to go into the black hole. A real life friend of my had like 20 or 30 before it was removed. And sure he wasnt the only to mass collect them. http://www.clanhavok.net/
January 30, 201016 yr Updated results, it's becoming clear that people think yellow is more common and green is rarer that their street prices suggest. The disk and pumpkin are very close and so is the cracker and the wine. we can't be certain that green is more rare than yellow and vice versa...from all we know, theres a threshold between yellow and red that actually "determines" how rare they are. same goes for purp and green since purp is definitely the most common. And sure he wasnt the only to mass collect them. i agree with disks not being all that rare. the reason why not a lot have them is because hoarders tend to have more than 1. its common to see the well-to-do merchants having more than 5 of them. i would say that there are a fair amount of crackers left if you count all the quitters and non players.
