Dire_Wolf
About 1 in 200 to 1 in 250That is good drop rate. But question is if my connection will allow me to take advantage of that. Thanks
Shepherdman7
About 1 in 200 to 1 in 250Wow... that good? I never knew. So how many kills do you manage an hour at your levels? *******"All that is gold does not glitter..."
Cactuaar
About 1 in 200 to 1 in 250Wow... that good? I never knew. So how many kills do you manage an hour at your levels? When I had only super sets and 91 range I got around 16ish kills per hour. Went last night with higher range and overloads, was managing around 20 to 22 kills per hour. Maybe I just got lucky, but I noticed that I was killing quite a bit faster. Too bad I'm at least 300ish dry there :( 255 logged and a few random trips. glasscube
I get 15 - 17 kills a hour with 96 range, 84 attack 78 strength and 79 summoning without eagle/piety. I find TD's really boring though so I never really stay longer then a hour. Help drive change Canada
Peronix
Just a warning, the 1 in 200 drop rate can be deceptive. Sure it might even out to that in the long run, but expect to have hugely insane dry streaks at some point. Currently 1k+ kills with 3 ruined pieces, a dragonstone, and a D med. Not fun. stonewall337
i am rather highly doubtful of a 1-200 drop rate. I think 1-300 to 1-350 would be closer. kickler123
It could be your very first kill, or it could be 5,000 kills before your first drop. It's 100% luck but there is a basis for this. It does not mean you are GUARANTEED 1 for every 250 you kill. Sure theres a good chance but it all comes down to luck.

WE KNOW it can be anywhere from 1-5000 kills, he's asking about a general drop rate on average. No one thinks that on their 250th kill they will automatically get dragon claws. 1230abcz
The 1/200 drop rate is fairly accurate. Shards are also about twice as rare as Claws (so don't take a ring of wealth). I've been in a lot of massacres, and they all kill TD's about one every 30 seconds. The claw drop rate is usually one every 2 hours or so. If you have extremes, GS, 95+ stats, and rune c'bow, you'll be hitting 20 kills/hour easy. I can get over 25/hour easily with pretty nooby gear, but that's because I switch like a beast. :D Other than that, they're very easy to kill, banking is a breeze, and you can make 4M/hour quite easily. No. That is not how ROW works. It doesn't changed WHAT rare drop you get, but rather whether or not you get a rare drop at all. In practice I think I hear it increases drop rates anywhere from 1-5%, but rare drops are a tricky thing to figure out especially since we still don't know what constitutes a "rare drop." There's a guide in the AoW here that goes further in depth.
