Australia requests the UN take the RFG systems out of commission, so as not to stir up any major conflict.

Orbital superbombing really [bleep]s the game up, to be honest.

The UN upholds its ban on orbital weapons, with the exception of special defense networks that are approved by the UN.

Basically, "nananana boo boo, I have super weapons but not yoooou!"

Basically...But then you got rid of the P-Jet, the only thing that could remove the superweapon cheaply and effectively...Nobody trusts anyone else in this game...

Switzerland begins launching Magnipods from the surface of the moon. Each pod contains a Magnetic Sail, and will be launched around 5 minutes apart for the next two years. Thus mapping the Solar Wind, in a very crude form. After this another magnipod will be launched every 6 hours, as a checksum.

Other than this the SLC, or Swiss Luna Collider has confirmed the existance of the God Particle, which has been renamed the Swiss Particle, after its discovery...Swiss Von Swissing of the Swiss InstiSwiss of Swiss. The Swiss Particle has been sent to the United Nations, with a note 'Got to heaven before you!'

In other news Abbysinia has been really trying to educate children about Europeans. To this end they have burried time capsules containing large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin, set to go off at random periods over the next fifty years. Thus educating Abbysinan Children of the European aims.

Also to report is the presence of new gliders in the Abbysinian military, the gliders are designed to land on water, and to be towed by Stratos Jets. It is thought they are unmanned.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Yes, you got rid of your P-Jets.

Ok, just to recap. here's a list of all my Projects, ongoing and finished (except some finished ones I forget haha)

Finished Projects:

Project Solarus- Cover rooftops of almost all cities with solar panels, giving more than enough energy

Project EarthCore- Construction and research of high power deep earth mining apparatus

Project EarthWorker- Construction and research of robotic miners for the above project, and other tasks.

Project Tiger- Research of new helicopter and advanced missile systems.

Project Mouse- Research of a different helicopter type, and nanofiber armor.

Project Scatter- Classified

In Progress

Project godlr+1: Classified

Project Eahar: Classified

@Sere, Project Eahar covers all the unnamed projects at the end of my PM

I think that's all of them.

Oh, by now 500 Tiger Assault Choppers and 950 Mouse Assault Choppers are complete, at a grand cost of 50 billionish.

I'm reorganizing the military, creating a new branch, which will be the most technologically advanced branch, though all the other branches will get the tech as well, this one will the focus point of it. So far it consists of:

3 Field Corps (140,000 soldiers)

The infantry are mostly equipped with lightweight, but extremely tough nano-armor, which is far lighter than previous armor, but can take much more damage from higher caliber bullets. Some are equipped with tactical helmets will full HUDs, though those are usually only platoon or squad leaders that have those.

The body armor will sense when their vitals are low, and adjust accordingly, injecting specific drugs if needed. The suits also have some extendable blades for hand to hand combat. The suits are like very low tech exosuits, they do nothing to increase strength, the only electronic parts are the monitors, and some wiring which allows the armor to shift itself slightly, and the medical equipment.

Infantry are equipped with the latest, or best performing guns.

This section of the army will get the initial 1450 new choppers.

These soldiers will be the best 10% of the army, or pretty close.

Meh.

Fair point. I got rid of all P-Jets.

Correct again. You got rid of all your P-Jets.

Considering it seems to be a growing trend, I start 500 different projects. They will be revealed as needed.

@Icu:

Retech asked for an answer, and I gave him one. I didn't know that you took over Mongolia (largely in part that no one tells me of these things), and it's not like I read every single page (except perhaps a quick scan through each one of them for pertinent information). If there were less arguments, I probably wouldn't stop reading when I get to them. It's not terribly unreasonable to assume that two pages are going to be nothing but a continuation of a single argument when I read about 1 or 2 pages of nothing but them...

Temperatures have been falling in northern Europe and in the upper United States. This is also accompanied with more snow accumulation during the winters than is usual. People are bellowing "Global Warming!!!", but the weather changes do not seem to be of any immediate threat. Some scientists predict that a miniature ice age is going to be upon us.

The Space to Ground PEP stunners would be banned...

Anyway, there are far more effective ways for crowd control. Either use riot police, or use the Active Denial System (which, as far as I know, only the US military has).

Orbital anti-missile defences then? Firing multiple weak lasers (which are too weak alone, but functioning together) at missiles.

That's what a missile shield is for.

But they are too slow to do any good against normal missiles, lasers work faster.

If this is accepted then orbital anti-missile lasers will be started at SIRO TEMP.

What is the cost of a Stratos jet by the way? We should start setting prices on things to make it easier later, when people actually want to warmonger.

Japan asks Norway for a lease on one of their small islands, so Japan can put a small military base there. Esimated contingent: one battlegroup (One super carrier, 5 destroyers, 5 frigates, few subs). Enough to respond to a small crisis, and not enough to invade anyone. :)

The Imperial compound for the emporer has been completed. Though it looks like a tranquil palace, do not be fooled by what you cannot see. The Industrial compound, also located in Kyoto, is completed as well. The heads of the corporations in the Japanese conglomarate meet there, with all their secret tech (the civilian secret tech, not military secret tech) located there. Most of it is handled by robot, and only certain undisclosed members of the government may enter and look at the tech.

The second Japanese imperial fleet has taken its maiden voyage, visiting all the nations of the empire. This is the first of the standard fleets, though not one of the last.

The Japanese military has released an upgrade of their original plane. This fighter-bomber is a continuation of the same generation fighter-bomber, but it comes equipped with anti-missle defences, against missles flying at itself and at other targets.

A new interceptor jet has been constructed to replace the old interceptor jet. These jets are specially designed to take out missles and bombs, especially large clusters of them, when missles cannot do the job effectively.

Plans are moving forward to equip the entire army with exosuits, when they are completely researched. The rate at which the army is equipped varies, depending on the budget, the cost of the Exosuit, and production capabilities at the time. There are expected to be two kinds of Exosuits: one focused on speed and agility while another is focused on sheer firepower and heavy armor plating.

Stuff people might be interested in due to North Korea:

Japan does not condone either action for or against North Korea, stating that any attack on North Korea could provoke a nuclear retaliation. Any attack against Scandanavia would also be foolish, so the best course of action is that neither is carried out.

(This statement might have come as a result of the fact that tensions between North Korea and Japan have cooled. Of course North Korea is never going to accept annexation, but at least they're pretty friendly)

The only difference between a disagreement between friends, an argument between strangers, and a feud between enemies is the ability to reconcile.

Scandinavia offers Japan the Farore(?) islands.

Scandinavia starts another national school project this time it is about a way to feed small items into barrels and eject them safely without taking mouch space, this will last for one month only.

A large nuclear facility is being built in the Patagonian desert. It'll be powering another experimental facility, that is also being built.

Also, at this point SATO's wealth fund is around 1400 gold, and the original Brazilian state has an addition 1600 ish tons, plus some random reserves by other countries there is about 3200 tonnes of gold in SATO.

Stratos Jets should cost around 10 million each.

Swiss Statros Jets costs arounf 15 million each and are somewhat improved.

Australia begins work on a laser based anti-missile system.

A global anti missile system is a stupid idea, and would mean that instead of firing missiles, people send in troops.

My anti missile system is going to be ground based.

Australia also begin's talks with Sri Lanka.

You've got a point there, current technology level anti-missile lasers being placed on mountains and large plains as well as military outposts, enchancements being researched continously from now on.
