Oh, if the attack goes as planned and Turkey is crippled so badly that even the SR could take over, we COULD rewind this so the whole affair never happened. After all, I can play in a slow-paced game of occasional wars and country development. That global warming stuff was occupying too.

Mather, the Japanese empire doesn't exist as an empire as soon as I blow up Turkey. Hegemony became too fast-paced for me, especially when I'm being attacked every few hours with WMDs on the busiest week of the year.

As your first nation you should probably play as either Castille, Austria, or France, as they allow a large amount of screwing up without collapsing your country. Avoid playing as anything in Eastern Europe until you get a hang of it. That big purple Lithuanian blob might look like a powerhouse...but it generally collapses early on.

This application has failed to start because d3dx9_35.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (I've already reinstalled four or five times)

Well essentially Rocco had an infinite supply of ICBMs that I couldn't retaliate against, and I couldn't do anything to fix my country for the week while being attacked, because I wouldn't be able to keep up with it.

 

We could have it that missle defence tech changes into an equal tech of different measure. Why not make it into short-ranged missle tech?
