I was already annoyed at the game beforehand, so don't think my rage quit in the next match was any fault of yours. I was done for the evening. <_<

I was on a slump the first half of the week, but I had some very fun games today and yesterday. I got blessed by being put on some good teams. One match on port valdez as defenders, we stole their t-90 and we completely shut them down on the first set of m-coms.

Sniping on this game is just too much fun, I've had some epic games on Valparaiso recently. I unlocked all the recon gear and experimented around with some of the guns, M24 is probably still my favourite but I really like the S98 Snaiperskaya (sp?), it might not do as much damage but you need headshos anyway, and it has the best fire rate, reload time and magazine.

 

I tried the Type 88, the first semi-auto, pretty good actually, I was expecting it to be terrible because I never see people using them. 2 headshot kills, pretty nice actually. i used the VSS with a 4X scope and its pretty good, seems to me to be a silenced assault rifle really I can't imagine sniping with it. I haven't used the GOL or M95 enough to judge them, but the M95 seems to take too long to reload and cycle the bolt to be worth the extra damage, when all the bolt actions are 1 hit headshots or 2 hit body shots anyway, but it damages helicopters, so I might use it on the maps where kids like to spray from Blackhawks constantly.

 

I also have some random questions abou the game I've developed over a while.

 

1. Is it worth firing the Assault kit grenade launcher at tanks? I find sometimes I get hitmarkers and sometimes I don't, is it even doing any damage?

 

2. Is it possible to snipe people out of the mounted machine guns with the metal shields, if you can fire through the gap in the front?

 

3. A few times now I've had a random suicide where I spawned in without a parachute when attacking and just fell to my death, I mean wtf? Glitch or me doing something wrong?

 

4. With the mortar strike do I need to aim above the target or what? Seems my mortars always land slightly off of where I want them to land.

1. Not worth it unless tank is almost done for.

2. Not possible.

3. Jump should be your default parachute button while in the air.

4. Not sure really, I very rarely use mortars.

 

 

Also unless the 360 patch is different than the PC one the SV98 and M24 do the same damage.

In hardcore I find the SV98 acceptable. I'm not a fan of it's sight. In terms of actual usage, I use the M95 the most, as I used to play normal (not hardcore) deathmatch, so needed the power. I've been killed quite a few times when cycling the bolt because I missed another sniper by a few inches it's very frustrating.

Yeah I find that a problem. Only reason that I play hardcore is for the lack of killcam, since I don't have the PC version.

I hate the fact that Team kills count towards your deaths. I was playing a game and everytime I got a kill, a team 'mate' would kill me. The third time I was killed was just a guy spawning on me and deciding to kill me for no reason. It took my ratio down, which was rather annoying (as I've been working hard just to mantain it, let alone increase it).

So close right now. 4928 kills to 4963 deaths. Im working on the SA guns now to get the extra xp from them. Should be able to get the patches for the UMP45 and the M16 tonight. Also started playing engineer again and I must say Ive missed my CG so much. Working on the platinum start for it. 176 out of 500 kills so far <_<
