Leagues should limit it to 1 medic per 4 players.

 

DICE should put a limit on how many times a player can be revived, like maybe twice - and each time could add to the respawn timer.

I feel as though something that could fix all of this is just nerf the recharge time of the defibrillator. I think it takes just 3 seconds for them to recharge? Maybe put it to 10 seconds. This would solve medics becoming a one man army, and not have to add regulations to a class. Just my thoughts.

 

Well I feel like if one medic can get up his entire team it's fine, he earned it. It makes it so you just need to focus the medic in a battle. I don't think extra recharge time would stop these teams of 4 medics.

I guess that is true and did not read what you was trying to explain. Please excuse me. However, I could see a lot of backlash with a patch you want to happen. I'm not saying it's a bad, idea. It's just that I find that BC2 offers a lot of freedom in how we fight. If you was to restrict it, it just don't sound or feel right. Again just my thoughts.

 

I'm not requesting a patch, in pubs I don't care what they do. I'm asking for leagues (comp) to enforce 1 medic per team as a rule. No patch needed.

Lol, my helicopter was going down on Isla Innocentes but I managed to crash it pretty much right into the M-COM station killing 2 guys.

Played a few rounds this afternoon with a friend. Picked up his m1 garand during a match; it's a pretty fun gun to use. It feels less bulky than the m14 for some reason. Also, taking out a helicopter with a battle tank's main cannon is so satisfying.

There are 4 game types and here are the overviews for each.

 

Conquest: Players must capture and hold flags for as long as the enemy respawn tickets hold out. Every kill makes the enemy lose one ticket, and enemy tickets constantly decrease when a team controls more than half of the flags on the map. Vehicles unlock as control points are held.

 

Rush: Players must defend or destroy pairs of M-COM stations for as long as the attacking teams respawn tickets hold out. An M-COM station can be destroyed by planting a charge, using conventional weapons, grenades or when a building is collapsed down on it.

 

Squad Rush: Rush mode played with only two opposing squads and one M-COM station.

 

Squad Deathmatch: Four squads and one Infantry Fighting Vehicle roam the map. First squad to fifty kills wins the match.

 

Each gametype has specific maps only available for that gametype. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 also features dedicated server support.

The lag is getting unbearable. I can't go into a match now without having any sort of lag. Some matches are really jumpy. <_<

My friend had a 14k game before I came online, so I 1-uped him and had a 21k game. :P It wasn't an amazing game, I just got some high scoring pins.

Most I've had is like a 17k game. Got Knife, M95 and M93R gold stars all in the same match :P

I always have perfect connection on this game, but twice now the game has frozen and locked up so that I have to turn off my 360.

if anyone has problems submitting older battlefield cd keys for veteran points i suggest going ea live support took me 15mins and got my veteran points to 4 :) oh and those who dont have any older battlefield games and really want the M1. Go play 1 game of battlefield heroes since its free and after that you can get veteran points from it.

 

ps. got my 500 kills on carl gustav :P

Yeah I got my first gold one today, whats the deal with that? Does it have to be your nemesis to be gold? But then whats silver? So much stuff on this game is unexplained.

It's just what level the person you knifed is. The higher the higher level the dogtag.

It's just what level the person you knifed is. The higher the higher level the dogtag.

"Dog tags are used in Battlefield 2142, Battlefield: Bad Company and Battlefield: Bad Company 2, where they are rewards for knifing an enemy player in multiplayer. They show up like any other reward, at the center-top (center for BF2142) of the screen. There are three types of dog tags in Bad Company series:

 

Bronze - Earned for killing someone between the ranks 1-10 in Bad Company, 1-21 in Bad Company 2

 

Silver - Earned for killing someone between the ranks of 11-20 in Bad Company, 22-40 in Bad Company 2

 

Gold - Earned for killing someone between the ranks 21-25 in Bad Company, 41-50 in Bad Company 2."

Yep, thanks! I talked to an ea employee through the live chat and he got my veteran status working. BF2 and BF2142 showed up even though I only tried downloading the demos for them. I didn't even play them. However, it sucks that the m1 garand registers kills under the thompson. Oh well.

So me and Krasnoyark played hardcore on nelson bay, and my god... Type 88 S with a ACOG sight was beasty. I went 19-12 with it :thumbup:
