With the patch comes the 4 achievements from the SPECACT kits. :thumbup:

 

EDIT: Atleast I think it does. Xbox.com shows them on my profile as available to unlock. I haven't checked my 360 yet.

Are you talking about the ones where you get like 5 kills with one of the SPECACT guns, or a kill streak with it?

The helicopters needed a nerf on the Isla Innocentes map or whatever the one with the island is called, Blackhawks go up all the time on there when defending and its [bleep]ing annoying, especially with people who know what they're doing and have an engineer in the passenger seat to repair. But hey at least I can do something about them now because I unlocked the tracer gun at level 11 when it said level 17.

I never found the Blackhawks on Isla Innocentes a problem. There was always usually someone on the Heavy MG on the hill shooting them and others taking Rpg shots when they flew in low so they never lasted very long. It's even worse now for the pilots with the tracer gun update on that map. I tried flying the Blackhawk a couple of times with the vehicle smoke specialization but barely lasted 2 minutes flying in circuits as the number of tracers shooting past was unreal and the recharge time for the specialization was slower than the time it took for the other team to hit me with a few more tracer beacons.

Thinking I'm going to use XM8 P as my main weapon now for assault. After doing a bunch of comparisons I found that the XM8 P is pretty much the M416 but less spray.

After getting a feel of most of the patched weapons I can say it's damn near perfect. I can't really find one gun that is overpowered at all now. On another note, the first gun I hope to get a platinum star with is the MG3. Im at...344 kills, wont take too long... :unsure:

I have 9 heavy vehicle gold stars now. Just 50 kills more for my first platinum. I also have 7 helicopter gold stars, and will work on that after the heavy vehicles platinum.

The semester is finally over so I can play more often now. Hopefully, I can get some platinum stars soon. Also, the mg3 is probably my favorite lmg right now.

Still waiting for the PC patch... really hope it comes soon.

Yeah, last night I got 3 Blackhawk roadkills in one match. :thumbup: Two of them were close double kills, with the other guy just barely making it out of the way.

Wow, I swear Assault classes really are deaf, I was following some guy around and spamming him with the "I need ammo" thing, and he wouldn't drop a crate, So I was stuck ontop of a building under heavy fire with no ammo whatsoever, but I managed to clear it of camping reacons with my power drill, and unlocked the "Dentist" Trophy for it.

 

I got the game about a week ago, and I'm quite enjoying it. Playing as Engineer/Reacon, mostly.

 

Also; I somehow managed to survive & keep a tank repaired under a direct mortar strike, I think I was at 1% HP when it went away. :ohnoes:

After watching that roadkill thing, I went on that map and got 3 in a row :thumbsup:

I tried Hardcore today, and I absolutely love it. I used the M2CG for 6 games in a row, and went from 160ish kills to 250. I got the 50 double kills emblem thing, and I got 13 in one game :twisted: I used the SVU Supersakya (sp) Short, the semi-auto sniper, and raped in hardcore. It is a 1 hit kill half the time with magnum ammo, and a follow up shot is super easy, if needed. I was playing with the VSS Short sniper or whatever it's called, and I was moving my controller, and hit the fire trigger and held it down, and the sniper emptied the clip and I was like :shock: Theres a fully auto sniper! Didn't know that :rolleyes:

Hardcore mode is stupid enough on PC lol, I can't imagine it on console when you already have something like a 25% damage increase. Such an unbalanced mode.

 

(For reference everyone has 50 hp instead of 100 in hardcore mode.)

Yeah, almost anything is a 1 or 2 hit kill. The main reason I like it isn't because of that, but because it doesn't show the person you killed where you are, so it's really good for sneaking in behind the defender's base or whatever else.

On the PC you can set servers up with no kill cam but normal mode.

I have more helicopter roadkills then I have land vehicle roadkills. :lol:

 

 

I have 12 roadkills for the Blackhawk right now. I aim to increase that as much as I can. I'll be playing Isla Innocentes as much as I can to get them.
