You was right Mc. I did notice that the when you do put the scope for the MG36, the black is there a little bit longer...oh well. Not to noticeable in my opinion.

I'm still not sure which LMG im gonna use to get the MG3, i'm thinking of sticking with the MG36 as i can put the med-kit bonuses on instead of a red dot sight although i was kicking [wagon] earlier with the XM8 with red dot and magnum ammo. The choices...!!!

 

Also, any tips for using the Engineer class?

I've unlocked up to the AK-74, pretty much played similar to how i would with assault but obviously focused on vehicles when we came across them. Usually take anti-tank mines on the first spawn and dot them around, play until i get killed then switch to RPG until the mines are triggered.

First off with the medic class.

The beauty with the last 3 guns ( XM8, MG36 and the MG3) is that they dont need a red dot. Leaving room for extra grenads on a light weight pack. The XM8's iron sights are some of the best in the game, MG36 has its own RDS and the MG3's are not the best, but I make it work. Just find what works best for you and stick with it. As for me... close range combat if the MG3. I am kinda biased though...I LOVE that gun. However, the MG36 is better suited for long range.

 

As for engineer, I would suggest either the SCAR-L or the XM8C. SCAR-L is very deadly at medium range, and close range it gets the job done nicely. The Ak-74 is ok, but I think it has a little bit to much recoil for me liking.

Cool, think it's gonna be the XM8 LMG im gonna stick with. I find it's iron sights easier to use in most situations than the MG36's built in scope.

Indeed. And it only gets worse. The UZI's fire rate is around 900 RPM, while the PP2000 is at 1000RPM. However, I prefer guns with faster fire rate. Only weapon I have 3 gold stars with is the PP2000 :thumbup:

On all maps of rush I think, the attackers get a UAV for every base they take. On conquest I think how it works is like this. Take White Pass for example. There are 3 bases. A,B,C. Russians get C and Americans get A, whenever B is taken is when the UAV appears, and normally who ever gets B gets the UAV. But im not totally sure about this.

 

Started playing more hardcore and I must say I like it more then normal. Guns like the MG3 and the PP2000 are amazing :thumbup:

On Panama Canal, base C gets the UAV. It is always in one of the middle bases in Conquest.

So you have to physically be the one to get the base to get the UAV?

Well, you can get in the UAV no matter which side you are on. You just have to keep in mind that if the other team controls the base the UAV is located at then you will be killed quickly.

I got the MG3 SA from the Dr.Pepper promotion, and it is basicly a MG36 minus the scope. Love the gun though... :thumbup:

I don't think you actually have to capture any nearby flags in order to use the uav in conquest. Just get there when it is available before everyone else.

I tried the email address that is used for my xbox live account, and that didn't work. I made an account on ea.com, but couldn't link it to my gamertag at all. When I play BFBC, it says it is signed into EA, but I don't know what account is signed on :( Can anyone help?

This is what I used when I forgot the password to my ea account. Just select whether you play on xbox live or psn, and type in your screen name. It worked for me.

Im not sure. Im not used the EA's website... I'm sure there is a way though...at least there should be :mellow:

 

Unlocked the STG 77 and...my God...its amazing. Every game I was in when I used it I was postive at least 5 kills. Im very happy now :grin:

Anyone on any team can use the UAV.

 

Think of it as a vehicle. Whoever gets to it first uses it until (most of the time) it is destroyed. Then you wait a little for it to respawn, and then someone can use it again.

Decided to use the XM8 LMG with a red dot and magnum ammo until i complete the medic. As good as the iron sights are, the red dot makes a hell of a difference to me so i think its worth having.

Got a couple of double kills with the M95, took a shot at one guy crouched down next to the corner of a wall and at that split second his teammate ran behind him.

Also played a few games of Cod earlier with a friend, makes me realise just how much i prefer this game.

Unlock the AN-94 today. it's ok gun, but I still like the AUG 77 more. Should max out Assault later tomorrow.

Getting back home this weekend, can't wait to play then. It sucks that I still have a [cabbage]-ton of stuff for school to finish; I'll still play though, haha. I'm going to start using lightweight more often on assault because most of the assault rifles have pretty simple sights now that I think about it. I had such a good run with lightweight + xm8 last weekend. I was already in the process of capturing B on Arica Harbor conquest when the US team just got A; we had them spawn trapped pretty well later on during the match. Kind of felt like a [bleep] doing it. xP

Haven't played BC2 in a few days since I got my new laptop, and now I'm wondering whether I should buy it for PC as well :P It'll be fun to see how amazingly bad I am when I get back to playing it.

Had an amazing game, 44-30 on Rush Valpraiso. I got 37 kills with the AN94, and one was a triple kill. I set a charge at the second B, and ran out of the building. 3 people ran out of the building next to me in a row like a train, and I killed all of them :thumbsup: I got over 10k xp that game.

Had 3 AMAZING games to day playing conquest on Laguna Alta.

First game I had no squd...so I went solo with the AUG, and cleaned house. That game I went 16-3. We won that one. Second game was the best. 21-4. I was playing USA and had an ok squad with me. Slowly though, the russains made their way to C. I spwaned on C and went around to the back side. Got a triple kill with a 40MM, the got another triple kill with the M16. Then got a double kill with it again! I felt like rambo...and as soon as I said that I died... <_<

I then went back to A and sniped people with the M16 trying to make their way to A. Each of those games I got the ace pin... was so amazing.

I think now I can rate the Assault guns.

1. Stg. 77 AUG- Amazing gun in my opinion. For both close and long range it is amazing. Only problem is that recoil is a problem, so short burst at medium and long range is needed.

2. M16A2- Only reason It's not first is I am a little biased tword the STG. However, this gun is amazing, even at close range, it still packs a punch at long range making it a medium range sniper.

3. XM8 P- This gun has the most kills by everyone playing BC2 to date I believe (If not its second) Amazing gun and both close and long range, but suited to medium range.

4. M416- At close/medium range, this gun is deadly. At long range it can be effective, but it is slight harder due to high recoil. Might use this gun more often as an wildcard gun

5. An 94- Im not a huge fan of this gun, but at long range this gun is unmatched in the assault kit. And at medium rage its deadly, I just dont like it as much as others do.

 

next Ill start playing around with the shotguns, the battle rifles, and the M1 and give so info if possible... :rolleyes:

 

BTW: I hope you all dont find me annoying posting so much...I just enjoy this game A LOT.

Just finished my latest goal of getting a gold star (100 kills) with every weapon [except the M1A1 Thompson, which is glitched].

 

Apart from that, not having the best of luck with matches right now, as it seems that almost every game I play in ends up being me and a bunch of level 20 people against a full clan whose members are all above level 40. Getting thrashed game after game is so.. so frustrating..
