Those were some horrible videos.6 of those videos were so bland and boring and were similar to the thousands of other videos uploaded All the original funny ones didnt even make it to top 10... The only good one worth mentioning was number 9 with the mine cart.

In my opinion #7 would have been a decent choice if it didn't have that annoying whisper-singing >.> And in #8, the rave scene was brilliant, but everything else was sub-par, so I didn't vote. I chose #2.

I am voting Log because his entry was not bad at all. Great job Log!

Because the music was good and it all was presented in a good way. And he did not use any voicing, many Runescape videos do.

Pretty much, I see potential there and honestly it's a style the entertains me the use of camera angles on this years was a nice blend too it wasn't too cliched not the typical text overlay, pan zoom bit of speech.

I voted for number four because it was the only one that made me actually laugh a little bit. Although quite honestly, I thought every finalist sucked.

Seriously, what's so great about #8? It's probably close to my least favorite. I voted for yours, log.

I appreciate everyone who takes part in voting, regardless of if it was for me or not, but for those who did vote for me, you have a special place in my heart :P

 

 

For those complaining that every entry was bad, I can understand if you don't like them, or if the person you wanted to vote for didn't make the cut, but unless you give some form of constructive criticism or reason why you dislike the entries, then it really just makes you come off as a jerk. There are nicer ways to go about things.

Tbh, boots of lightness one isn't that great, I mean the effects are cool and all... but the boots just make your weight less heavy.... not make you run faster (wish they could do that)

Yeah I think the reasons the guardians one didnt make it simply because it wasnt filmed in runescape, and "wilderness guardians" are not an actually rs THING.

 

Extreme Emotes as mentioned are not in game, meaning the user advertised something that didnt exist, which is why that didnt make it.

 

Only explanation I have for boots of lightness is the copyrighted music. You are only allowed to use copyrighted music, like I did in my entry, if you have explicit permission from the owner of the song, which I got. I don't think this user got permission. They check for that sort of thing. - and the fact that it didnt make much sense. just looked pretty. but thats ironic, coming from my entry, which is mostly just visuals HAH

I requested an animation competition, it'd be interesting and more freedom, aslong as its runescape based, extreme emotes was animation it was done in blender (animation on top of runescape with the movements), pablos background you could say is partly animation, same with wilderness guardians (it was done in flash), I think it'd be a very good competition and it'd take more dedication and it'd show in the end product.

I really like the extrememotes one, but it came down to a tie between the unicorn one and the maid one.

The thing about extr'emotes is that it was advertising the emote system but I guess Jagex didn't look through the comments to see that... but I guess it wouldn't have really counted anyways.

 

Boots of Lightness, sucks about copywritten music.

It would be nice if Jagex would give people that enter a reason as to why they got disqualified, kinda unfair that they don't know why they are disqualified when they put in their best efforts into the video and get knocked out because of the music they chose. Of course they should only do this if its something like that - music or content not allowing the video to get into the competition. We could have seen Pablo remake his Boots of Lightness video to make it into the competition.

Wilderness Guardians only made me lol because all I could think of was the recording of His Lordship screaming on Teamspeak (which has become rare, I have a copy of it still though)

 

Between the choices given I have a feeling #7 will win because it copied the freecreditreport commercials which are popular :rolleyes: I don't like it because its not really original.

Logdotzip's (#2) and EvilYakuza's (#8) were nice, but Logdotzip's was a lot more smooth and the advertisement was actually readable. EvilYakuza's would have been great but the rave scene lasted so long that he had to rush the advertisement.

 

So I'm going for Logdotzip's #2. Good luck.
