okay. i accept the vassals recource gathers, and... send another scout out guess...

The Scathe pray to Incabulos, asking him what his current power is. They also request a guide to a new village or civilisation to infect.

 

Incabulos sadly replies "I am but a tier one god, but my power will rise soon enough." (He's rather close to tier two). He informs you of the nomads from before who have made a camp in the foothills of a large mountain, and he tells you of a very powerful civilization, living in "the city of gold" high on the mountain. He warns you the powerful civilization will be very difficult and take time to infect, but that it would give him enough strength to leap to tier two.

 

(He could fight maybe but I do not have the troops to win even if that fight is a success to win I need to quickly kill the Fisher King with a far more powerful and pleased god [either that or hinder him] also I am preparing a massive amount of favor for one reason destruction) The Foraging team continues to forage.

 

You can't get favor while your god isn't around, but keep in mind that the Fishers are distracted by an unknown force. The foragers encounter more mole people, who turn out to be the same tribe as the one you allied with before. They suggest that you poke around with your scouts in the east, where you have not yet explored.

retech, mah post? i also add that i put any free people (any not working) on finding a way to link the vassals and the dragons with a common language. or somthing (damnit, nother forgotten detail. the dragons CAN speak telepathecally, but they usually have to be near to another. if they have a strong bond (mate is most common, though comradeship can form such a bond) they can synchronyze in combat perfectly. but this is even rarer than the special breathers (about 1 out of a hundred can posibly make this bond with another dragon) usually, they comunicate through spoken language)

The Scathe send spores to infiltrate the huge city, while the juggernaught and 500 spores infect the small camp.

 

The small camp is easily subverted, and you now have a thousand assorted nomads under your control, assuming you don't want to eat them. Your attack on the huge city fails, mainly because your Scathe have trouble climbing up the mountain. The advanced forces make it about half way up. You have the choice of building a camp and waiting for the rest of them to come up, or press forward. You also have a feeling that you might have to be smarter than just going into infiltrate, as it's likely the city has powerful gods.

The vassals seem to understand you fine with hand signals.

The Scouts find a thickish jungle, with arching canopies and the screeches of various animals.

EDIT: nvm then. i put those who arent working into a coupla scouting groups (2 in each group) if theres only one, then i send that one off to look for somthing interesting. if theres multiple groups, i send them off in dif directions.

The scathe find a cave in the mountain to grow in. They start slowly eating away a hole in the rock, until it reaches the city.

Your scouts report a rather large contingent of soldiers heading towards your mountain, perhaps to attack your mountain, or your vassals.

 

The scathe find a cave in the mountain to grow in. They start slowly eating away a hole in the rock, until it reaches the city.

 

The Scathe think that this is a brilliant idea, except that digging through hundreds of feet of solid rock is not easily accomplished in a reasonable amount of time.

The scathe begin secreting acid, so that the task can be accomplished over the course of several years.

Meanwhile, the main bulk spreads farther over the land.

Nah just the Research continuing as well as bronze being made.

You rolled a two or a one, can't remember. When Grim got his invasion, he rolled a 20! Anyways, the elementals that you send are critically injured and return to your mountain, accomplishing nothing.

Meanwhile, the main bulk spreads farther over the land.

 

The Scathe appear to be especially good at secreting acid, and are expected to reach the city by next year. The remaining Scathe that are not digging feed themselves, but don't find anything of much importance.

damnit. can i ask if they are heading for me, my vassels, or both? if me, then i try to make traps with my special breathers abilities. if the vassels, i send n envoy, telling them that an army is heading their way, and are advised to evacuate up the hill. if both, then i do both, and send the breathers down to piss off the enemies by shooting stuff at them. (out of the range from their weps of course)

Convieniently, your dragons begin dropping various items onto the enemy army, but they appear more annoyed than fazed. Their column stretches for great length, and despite all your efforts to discern anything, you cannot tell.

 

For precaution, the vassals evacuate up to your hill and begin to build traps/fortifications. (Toughest army in the game so far)

(Earth can I give some advice? If so do what I did to the Fisher's in my second village) The Kinder Gotten attempt to develop fishing techniques.

The acid works, but the others don't last long enough to be used as traps.

The Kinder Gotten would like to think that they are great fishers, except that there is no water nearby. There appears to be water in the Fisher kingdom, and in the jungle to the east.

Well with some creativity you could wipe out the army (that is if they do not follow a powerful god)

yeah. i meant for the bombardment. and grim, im actually a stronger race than you. i ask the pantheon of the gods, with the godess at its head, to kill the army. offering 5000 favor.

Strong individually, but far less numerous.

The pantheon of gods prepare their respective elements to wipe out the enemy army. The Earth begins to shake, the winds begin to howl, the sky streaks with lightning, and flash floods strike the enemy army. Despite the ridiculously large amount of carnage that this caused, the army continues to charge at you. The line seems half as numerous, but they seem even more determined to strike you down, reducing their chances of retreat and boosting individual combat.
