As far as actors go, Will Ferrell has really been cracking me up lately.

Dreaming of that face again

It's bright, and blue, and shimmering

Grinning wide

And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes

I like Lee Evans a lot, so much so that i've got tickets to see him in December :D

Lee Evans is a legend where I live, he is the safe bet if you are putting on a dvd for friends to watch, I don't know many people who don't like him.

I think Jack Dee is funny, his whole outlook on life just cracks me up. :P

Yeah man, HMV sell a boxset of like 6 Lee Evans DVD's, i'm extremely tempted. Good call on Jack Dee too, the guy's just so dry you have to laugh.

Yeah Lee Evans is pretty good too, Jack Dee is alright, his recent stuff on the tv has been funny.

I don't know a lot about comedians and stuff, since it doesn't really interest me. But I Ali G always makes me laugh. :)

Lol!!! :D ....He's so funny!!

But how is the guy called from the show 'Rayman is laat'

He's very funny to and the show is cool 8)

But I don't have a favorite comedian, there are so many to choose from and there are alot of them that are funny :)

So I can't really decide yet....

Peter Kay is sidesplitting. John Cleese is unbelievably clever in his humour and of course, my favourite sarcastic and anti-polticially correct (my favourite comedy genres) comic, has to be: Jimmy Carr.

"Well...I'd like to have a haircut less like Hitler's."

Bryan Reegan for my favorite standup.

As for humor, John Cleese all the way.

I don't suppose many American's will have heard of him.

If we are talking movies, Will Ferrell is on a roll right now, he's brilliant in Anchorman ("I love scotch, scotchy scotch scotch, watch it go down, down into my belly!") and has a few good cameo's in other movies like Wedding crashers, well that might be a slightly extended cameo, but he's still funny in a way a cameo should be.

Ricky Gervais (on stage not in the office) and Ross Noble

For me there's few American Movies which are funny... can't think of one but I do find Friends and Simpsons funny. Monty Python movies are the best though.

Ah reminds me of Bremner, Bird & Fortune here in the UK. Oh my word, those men are absolutely hilarious and so satire that it's quite worrying.

Jim Carey, Dane Cook, Jon Stewart, Conan Obrian, Dave Chappelle, and Robin Williams (sometimes).

Am I the only person who thinks Dave Chappelle isn't very funny?

Good actor and all, but the comedy just isn't that great :-?

Dave Attel has got to be the best stand up comedian I have ever heard. Other good ones are: Bill Burr, Patton Oswalt, and Norm Mcdonald.

Norm Mcdonald.

Man, that guy was a genious. And he always was smiling when he talked which I found funny. And his show. Oh how funny his show is, with the "Denby Cam". They'd spy on their old many boss, and he's do funny things. Like one time he dropped his toast and he started to cry. And one time he had a cupcake on his birthday and it lit the whole room on fire, and once he wore boots and started singing "These boots are made for walkin'" or whatever the song is. I hate how that show got cancelled. Norm was great on that.

I can see how people wouldn't like him. He's not for everybody. I think he's quite funny though, and an exceptional actor. His impression of Samual L. Jackson is superb  .
