MyCalmSkills
There Are Many Types Of Players On Runescape, Pkers, Pures Ect... But For Skillers It Can Be A Real Hastle. I Myself Are A Skiller With 99 In Woodcutting, Fletch And Agility With A Total Of 41m Xp At Lv 68 Combat. Now I Can Not Count The Many Times That Someone With 100+ Combat Has Come Up To Me And Called Me A "n00b" Because Of My Combat Level. Now This Does Not Bother Me, Its A Game, But I Just Cant Fathome Why Skillers Are 'Bashed' By Everyone Who May Have A Higher Combat Level Than Them But When It Comes To Total Xp Fall Devasatingly Short? Youmu
Because everyone judges how awesome a person is by combat level. It's a stereotype thing. Really, people only play the game for the combat. I must say, their style of play is downright WRONG. Skilling is the true core of the game. AirWales
They do so because they're just 12 year-olds and they think that combat level is everything there is to being a good player. It's a shame, since there are levels 3's who actually maxed out on skills (200M). Don't blaim it on yourself, it's a game, and everyone should play it the way they enjoy it the most. wcingisbad
There's no wrong playing style, and maturity doesn't correlate to one's playing style, in my opinion. R.I.P. Neko :[5,445,898,965th to 99 WoodcuttingBlogs are dead
quelmotz
Teens in general love violence much more than chopping down a tree. So obviously they look up to those people who are good in combat. Skeptical
It's a problem for everyone who has a skill/xp total that is inconsistent with what players expect their combat level to be. Lets just all be grateful for skill capes and expensive armor. "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security." hohto
When a person sees someone else in RS, he doesn't see how the other player has 200m xp in cooking or 1 billion total xp. He sees the gear the other one is wearing and the combat level. If you've just got past some of the mental barriers (i.e. 100 combat for some, gs for others, etc) you easily want to brag about it. For many kids the only way to make themselves look better is to put someone else below them and of course they can only pick on people who don't have enything visible to prove what they have. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm
Rock Hard
it's because violence is cool, and being good at it makes you popular otherwise you're a geek, or an emo you level up an alter-ego to ... chop wood, fish and cook? no words to describe my lack of comprehension - have you no trees? ;o oh, you kill [cabbage]? hell, thats cool. ;) 'Rock Hard' boss pure - 60/60 Attack | 99/99 Range | 1/1 Defence | 44/44 Prayer | 99/99 Strength | 99/99 Mage - level 79 combat EOC ## '07 Server ## "Best Runescape update ever: Removing 6 years of updates." demby123
1. Untill total level is displayed alongside your combat level, your always going to be judged by your combat ability.2. Remember anyone lower than you is a noob, anyone higher than you is a no life, and anyone lvl 68 is a wannabe. These are the rules. 3. Violence isnt really the reason people like combat. Believe it or not, some people don't like to sit at a computer watching your character cut logs for long periods of time. I like to have my mindless clicking mixed up by different situations every now and then. Combat is more involving.
