It's ironic that I'll probaly be more successful conquering the South Pacific as the United States in a peaceful fashion in Hegemony 3, but not in Hegemony 2 as Japan. If we start a new system, then we should just restart, where I am clearly stating now:

No, because while he is wasting his resources gobbling up countries, I am using mine to create powerful weapons of war while also increasing my infrastructure.

 

Furhtermore, redividing my IAG:

 

1/4 goes to Infrastructure

1/8 goes towards building tanks and APCs (200 in two years?)

1/8 goes to advancing the military training program in Egypt

1/2 goes to building an advanced, highly sophisticated, massive green energy plant near Cairo.

 

Exactly, except that the investment in countries gives a higher return on IAG. You pay for half their IAG, then you get all their IAG in return for the next ten years after that. Actually, it depends. As the United States, it costs more to improve my infrastructure a tiny bit than to gobble up all these countries.

 

That's also why I'm not building infrastructure right now: it'll be a big waste during an annex fest.
