I won't have those countries for 10 years, giving me that long to correct the infrastucture. Which will begin very shortly.

Sere, It was a picture of a bear rider.

Ross, you rushed me in the origional hegemony.

That wasn't fun.

Calm down, stop taking things personally people.

I've attacked Ross in a game, anyone who's not in an alliance just chill and don't get involved.

We are going to wait to see Archimages view of who wins the war.

60,000 Greek soldiers land in Iran and take up defensive positions. The armour should arrive within the month as well.

So, 60,000 fully equipped and trained Greek soldiers, 400 Medium tanks, 250 light tanks, and 700 APCs.

Paul, care to join in? CRUSADE TIME YEAAAA

btw in case this post gets confused, I'm defending Iran against China. Ross you should probably institute a draft right about now.

Hex, it's not just the picture, it's your general attitude. You act holier than thou and it's not the most pleasant thing to deal with.

Argentina would love to help Iran more solidly, but alas, all we can assist with is rather light.

Russia sends 40,000 ground troops along with 200 battle tanks & 300 APCS to defend Iran.

Greek positions.

The Greek Navy, comprising of a singular transport vessel, is fitted with a cannon and sent to the strait of Hormuz.

I wonder why that was not the freaking case when I was attacked by 3+ players at once in the first hegemony, when I had played as a pacifist.

Because you had 200 years to build up an army to defend yourself with?

Ross, 'you are the biggest douche ever' is not something I said

Probably Rocco that said that, then. But he's said that about everyone by now so it doesn't really matter.

edit: Chinese troops are withdrawing. Greek troops will remain for the next 3 months to ensure it's not a feigned retreat.

Also, I really think the two hours to move troops rule is kinda [developmentally delayed]ed. That's a month in game time. It might take about two hours for a large scale invasion, but to land 10,000 troops from 200 miles away should take 30 minutes top.

Well if someone attacks an ally 100 miles away, I don't want to wait a month to attack. (Not that anyone is my ally as of yet.)

Like Dusty said, Archi designed the rules so that the rules weren't lax enough to allow idiocy. However, the rules aren't perfect.

I think we should talk about getting some rules revised so they can't be abused, to be honest. I personally think that the zero military rule should be abolished and some things like what Doom pointed out need to be revised.

We're still early enough in the game where we can revise some things and work out all of the bugs.

Of course not, that would break your established isolationist play style...

Well, I'm playing as Italy this time around, so that kinda puts me in the center of the action. I was only an isolationist the last times because I already controlled my entire continent (Or multiple continents by the end) with no competitors.

All attacks unless there by Ross are unprovoked.

No Rocco didn't say that it was ross.we are not playing 'fair' here, we are playing however we want here.

Okay, fair enough, they're playing however they want, and luckily for me they want to defend Iran.

Dusty, I did not start to play as early as most of you in that version, not to mention that I had Ross' fleet above my head for a few decades.

Not only that but I had defences, built and closely calculated, but having three superpowers attack you at the same time isn't an easy feat to survive, especially not right after a plague.

I thought you were playing as Brazil.

Anyway, here's my suggestion for the military issue. Since the rule was imposed in order to prevent people from suddenly discovering 500 new tanks off of WIkipedia, why not do the following?

Each country gets assigned specific numbers of tanks, naval ships, soldiers, and aircraft at the beginning of the game. This will be based upon the actual military that your country has in real life. However, the equipment is standardized at first so we wouldn't have the complicated task of assigning you 50 Apache helicopters, 200 other types of helicopters, etc.

For example, Britain would get assigned a military based on its real life statistics, although all of the naval equipment will have the same stats. The same would apply to the RAF and the British Army.

There was nothing stopping you from forming one.

Actually I want to bomb bomb bomb Iran, but the problem with that is that Iran needs to exist for me to do that. Don't really feel like bombing China. Hehe

To Sere:

I'm fine with that. I don't really like the fact that I don't have aircraft or naval vessels, since planes take like 3 years to build, and naval vessels like 10.

I switched once I realized we were using 2000 gdp, when Brazil decided to take a huge GDP dip, making it way poorer. Plus, I really wanted to switch it up a bit, seeing as I had Brazil the past 2 games.

How about we just build up our armies.
