Like times a thousand. Drakes new singles killed it lol, and Kanye's album is going to be illy.

I personally loved Distant Relatives and the positive message it gets across. As for Eminem's new album if its as good as Not Afraid was its possible he could have his first classic. In an unrelated note Gucci got out today, I'm not a big fan of his music but his features are typically good.

I'm not a huge army of pharaohs fan but lyrically there good. Reflection Eternal is back I would definitely cop the album may 18, Talib Kweli never disapoints.

Meh, I hate new Jedi Mind, saw him live and he just sounds like utter crap ever since he got shot in the mouth. And AoTP is alright imo. Looking forward to new QN5, RhymeSayers, and Doom Tree material.

Poland and Finland have my two favourite European hip-hop scenes. Some of it is really cheesy, but it's all good. UK hip-hop really fell down when grime became popular. It was never anything incredible, but grime killed the entire scene. Japan has a lot of good stuff but the best stuff is instrumental if that doesn't bother you at all.

1. B.o.B - I think he is gonna be huge. I got his album the day it came out and it blew my mind.

2. Jay-Z - Has been so good for a long time now and continues to be great.

3. Kid Cudi - So deep in his lyrics and I think is underrated. His debut album was incredible, the best of 2009 in my opinion.

4. Drake- I am looking forward to more of Drake. He has already made it huge and is very early into his career. I think he has a great career ahead of him.

5. Kanye West - While I hate him as a person I can't help but enjoy his music

6. Eminem - Relapse was not his best work but I think he is back on his game.

7. Lil Wayne - Looking forward to the Carter IV although it may be a bit delayed now.

 

Yeah I only have seven and I realize that most, if not all of those are mainstream. I need to work on expanding my knowledge on some lesser known rappers.

400 is my favourite Shing02 album; loved it instantly the moment I heard it as well. I listened to Michita's "Three" yesterday and it's some really good stuff as well. I don't know; I think hip-hop is something Japan does particularly well along with indie rock and ambient.

Yeah it's more RnB, but it's really chilled which is something uncommon to my library, not due to the fact I don't like it but because it's rarer for the artists I have. Can't decide whether I prefer this or B.o.B's album, buzzing for Kanye's though. His first single from his upcoming album 'Good Ass Job' is out, it's called Power featuring Dwele.

drake is kinda hit or miss for me, some of his songs are cool and chill and the others are just lame. idk i just think he tries to hard for a rhyme. on "bedrock" he used ricky bobby for a rhyme and i just thought that was hilarious and visine in another one. there's nothing wrong with using cultural references but they should at least be relevant and not used just to make a rhyme.
