Well after months of flaming, trash talking, etc. Phil Hippy came to Everton for a week prep fight hoping to settle this beef once and for all. They agreed on the following rules:

 

• Matched Opts | Minimum pull of 20,
  
• CWA Classic | Center Bounds,
  
• Melee and Binds allowed,
  
• Offensive Magic and Ranged not allowed,
  
• 3 Sniper Cap,
  
• No corrupt,
  
• Rings allowed,
  
• Date negotiable: Friday 23rd April,
  
• Time negotiable: 6:00PM EST.

We outpulled LND, and dropped to 23.

LND came to center and we piled a 120, one of LND's lowest levels, whereas they piled Generaldesor. Gen tanked it for 2 kills, giving us a nice advantage as we wrecked our piles. We lost the advantage due to some dc's, but regained it due to LND getting dc's too, and took control, making our advantage larger till we ended 9-0.

We might have taken round two seriously if Stryker didn't make up [cabbage] about TPR ddosing, you and I both know that nobody in TPR can ddos and very few of us actually know what a DDoS really is. Next time can you please accept the loss without making excuses like you think we did in the past?

I'm no expert on Ddosing or VPN's but this is what I understood from reading a lil bit...

Virtual - defined as "being such practically or in effect, although not in actual fact or name." Therefore, the first part of the answer to our question "what is a VPN" is that it is something that acts like a hard-wired network, but is actually not.

 

Private - defined as "of, belonging to, or concerning a particular person or group; not common or general." So, a VPN should be one where the consumer has exclusive use of the network links. (Note, this is different from a Secure Network, which may be a private or public network.)

 

Network - defined as "a system of computers interconnected by telephone wires or other means in order to share information." This is the goal of a VPN or any other type of network.

 

VPN explained in this manner is a network technology which gives the owner the ability to share information with others on the network by means of a private, exclusive link that is created by a method other than hard-wires or leased lines; usually via the internet

Today, however, a VPN keeps information private by means of encryption on both the sending and receiving end. There are a variety of encryption protocols, depending on what a company's needs are, who they need to communicate with (and therefore be compatible with), etc. The data is not only encrypted, but it is encapsulated, meaning it is sent in its own private "tunnel" or connection across the internet. No one can see the data, and even if they could, they can't decipher or change it. In this way, information can be sent across the internet without being susceptible to interception or corruption by those who are outside of the VPN.

That VPN doesn't generate a random person's IP and "frame" some one else, and the chances of it "framing" Everton would be low, but once again IDK anything about ddosing so correct me if i'm wrong on that part.

Gratz TPR, I remember back when i was in tko we had 2 dc's and LND claimed best at matched opts so you can claim you're better than LND.

no matter who ddosed their ts or wether it did infact get ddosed. They lost their ts and obviously it had a huge impact on warring, cus honestly who can tell their team/clan to just 'go with it'. LND has warred some clans/teams and lost numorously but they still keep warring them when they get better, and when they say they arn't warring you again its obvious something happened.

Oh sure. It's one thing to know how to DDoS. But if you don't have access to a botnet, which to my knowledge no one from either LND nor TPR does, you can't do anything. Sure you can join flood yourself, but it's not that hard to ban one person from the server. I would learn to differentiate between one person causing trouble and an actual DDoS attack.

 

I'd like to think that if both sides didn't over-react, it would've been nice to see the second round fight without the disconnects. But it seems no one could be mature about it and stuff like this happens.

 

There's rivalries that are productive, and then there's things like these...Ah well. I was hosting an Armadyl Trip for Solace members, so I couldn't make it. Good job in actually fighting--that's about the only thing worth congratulating here based on how both sides are acting lol.

p.s : dc's, audio gets [bleep]ed, happens all the time, happened to us before, clans/teams need to learn that this WILL happen some day and how to overcome it, imo it didnt afffect lnd at all, if much ,when it went down they already had a pile and took em 1 min to get on the backup.
