Dear Jagex/Runescape,

 

 

Thank you for making a wonderfully entertaining game. I do actually really enjoy it. I go through phases where I play for months at a time.

 

 

On the other hand,

 

Screw you for making it so hard to go back to f2p. Every time I think of the game, I always think "Alright, need monies for membership".

He hates the feeling of having members, then having to play F2P, it's not as satisfying after you've tried playing P2P. It is a pretty sucky feeling, not as much things to do as you're used to. You could try making a new account.

$5 is really cheap for a members account. It's well worth the price of the subscription in my opinion. Though, that's the old members rate. I think new players and other methods besides CC have to pay more, but it's still really cheap compared to other games (and items).

Though never been members, it sure has a whole lot more things than F2P. If a member were to go F2P, it would feel weird because there's so much less stuff.

 

I'm purely F2P so I still think F2P has good enough stuff. Though when I become members this opinion will change, kinda.

Well it sounds like the developers did their job then, I for one haven't tried members but have been very tempted on many occasions but since i play very sporadically i never did and from this it sounds like its a good idea i haven't.

I have tried ONCE to f2p after playing p2p several years ago. It was hard then, I can't imagine it being easier now.

 

And like it was said before, this IS a pointless rant. More or less, I'm actually inspired by Jagex's ability to make a game in the manner in which they have manipulated me. It was merely just a "I'm playing Runescape? Gotta find monies" as if I don't even consider f2p because I know it will not work.

I like this rant. Just got back into RS after being off for over a year. F2P sucks [bleep] when you've had members and gotten used to being able to use member transports, member spells, member weapons, etc.

 

I've been degraded to chopping willows :(
