well TJ in first place he takes so much time on hi sigs they always come out looking so good and never dissapoints.

 

 

 

blazer was amzing when he was making the sigs the 1 shop he had was a great sucess and all his sigs were amazing too.

No one gives CC to annoy anyone, I'm fairly certain people have better things to do than to piss someone off on purpose in the media boards (at least around here). People are just trying to help you, if they gave you a lot of crits then you'll just have to fix all the problems till you can satisfy way more people.

It was nothing to do with having crits, it was just a complete useless crit. As it was critisising me for having something like 954 colours in my current sig. Where as I think, as most do as far as I know, it is better to go for quality rather than cutting inbetween shades out so it looks worse juts so it has less colours.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All other crits I am fine with, even if I do have a thing about ignoring them at first and I know they are stuff to work on each time (eg character chins, my d-hide texture, proportions still aren't quite right etc etc)

You must realize, 954 colors is way to much. Godslayer can do the work a lot of of us can do with 50 colors. If you do your shading properly you can cut in between shades. Pixeling is basically a form of painting called Pointilism. Where a limited number of colors were used and just dotted on the canvas one at a time. By doing this, we found out our eyes are trained to naturely mix colors. This technique was developed by Georges Seurat in the 19th Century in France. It's all about how you place your limited number of colors. Plus mate, I'm not trying to start an argument, but your sig, your characters just look flat. You need to use a more limited pallette but use a variety of darks and lights. Same thing with painting on a canvas. Mind you Paw, I'm no trying to have a go at you; I'm just explaining something.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

OT:

 

 

 

I hate making a list, it's pointless. Everyone knows who's good and why they are good.

I know that much, but I think it is a kind of useless crit as I am not stupid. I am doing an art GCSE and have only got the shades I need, in most cases I have had to add in extra shade as it did not blend correctly in the eye.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And in the case of my current sig I think it is perfectl justifiable due to the sher number of textures etc involved.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did do a check and the 3 front characters are only 75 (roughly) colours on thier own which isn't too bad then the background has alot of colours due to various textures althouhg I honestly can't tell where thoose 800 odd shades in the bg are as I can only figure out about 90 shades at most in it
