What would you like to see in RS3?

Another thing that I would like to see is a bit more radical empowerment of some classes and less empowerment of other classes; It would be really nice (and more phantasy style) if warriors were fairly easy to train, but did not hit a ton, archers were a bit harder to train then they are now, but hit a moderate amount, and mages were extremely hard to train (hard enough that you would not want to become one unless you were a very, very dedicated Runescape player), but they hit way more than other classes and perhaps could hit more than one person at once, etc.

pretty much how it is now, except the warrior and rangers dificulty in training and hits is swithched

well, I was talkingn more about a huge difference in the hardnes of training a certain type of skill, warriors would be much, much more easy to train than they already are, archers would be the same hardness, and mages would take about as much time to train to level 99 as two or three archers conbmined.

Jagex have plans to release a brand new game. They won't do a major update to Runescape like RS1 > RS2 until this is well and truely done.

Yup.

*hopes for a better trading system in their next game*

Hmmm, I don't think this is coming out anytime soon, but a nice idea would be that the game takes place in virtual reality. Players interact with the game through a bunch of censors attached to your body, and a large pair of virtual reality goggles that actually makes you feel like you're there.

Then when you train like fight, fish and mine, you have to perform the actions in real life with the appropriate body parts - such as swinging your arms over your head to mine, casting an invisible fishing line to fish, etc... This will help people to become fitter whilst having a good time playing a game and having fun with friends.

Technology is at least a decade from this sort of environment being affordable to the average household, but it would sure be a great way to cure obesity and overweightness in gamers.

Of course you consider the fittest. But what about the world's fatest man. Did you ever stop to consider him?!

I think just better graphics. Much better 3D engine, and maybe turning away from the easily corruptable java script.

I think that Jagex has actually done a pretty good job of making their Java pretty hard to corrupt, I mean sure, you can still do it, but there aren't too many people who have the time on their hands and really, really want to do it; Java is very useful because when it is compiled, it goes to "byte code"; this allows it to be read by virtually any computer with pretty much and kind of operating system, unlike many programming languages; turning away from Java would not be a good step because it would exclude some people from playing because they did not the right system requirements.

How... Smart. Frankly I was going to suggest homosexual marriages. :D

i like the idea of marrige but then also deivore

If divorce, then maybe alimony? If you breakup, you split your gp evenly, but maybe having higher stats means you have to pay a higher portion to your ex-- heh.

It's actually impossible to say everything that should be in RS3.

Retired.

Rocket Launchers!

Now why would jagex put rocket launchers into a medevil game. and plus they have a weapon like that its for the mourings end part 1 but it shoots frogs lol.

I would say better graphics more land to go and explore not alot more but just about another 1/3rd of the map

More quest alot more and more seris quest like the plague city seris

more weapons and armor maybe even the ability to buy your own land like 200k per square or something and buy your own monster and such example: you could buy like 20 squares and buy 4 magic trees that would be awesome! :o

And no more blocker like this **** they should have like a parental setting high medium low or default.

something like in the episode of futurama where they have the internet  that would be awsome (making it seem like you are your character, duh)

A move away from a Java application, with some what better graphics, more depth, and ability to communicate ingame via microphone.

Little wild request, but hell so is even thinking about RS3.

Maybee it will look something like this:

If RS3 ever came out I would like to see Jagex contract with a game developer to create a better interface and graphics. Obviously the game would cost money to purchase and monthly subscrition would go up. However, the improved interface and graphics would allow for so much more expansion. Also, I would like to see the demand for player skill increase, particularly in combat.

I personally think they did an excellent job with their java powered graphics, but that's partially because i know some java and understand how much of a cabbage it is to program graphics in. (fill in cabbage with your favorite expletive)
