Just about every Tuesday, there is a "Hall Association" meeting at my university dorms. To encourage more people to attend, a ticket is given to each person who shows up. Well, just today, we had an auction where the tickets were used as the currency. In the event of a tie, the top bidders had to break the tie by playing rock-paper-scissors. I was told that I had seven bids, which was higher than anyone else. The next "richest" people had five bids. So when they put the bike up for auction, I bid six. Instant winner!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I still cannot believe it. I estimate that it is worth at least $200. Sure, it's still an average bike, but since I got it for free, I shouldn't really be complaining! :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now all I have to do is hope that it doesn't get stolen.

i also have an old run down 76' schwinn varsity, that i bought at goodwill for $5

 

 

 

i've put so many miles on that old baby.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i plan on biking from muskegon, MI, to philadelphia, PA next summer on my Trek with a couple friends. that should be a good couple week adventure.

Congratulations anyway. I have a Schwinn (good bike, nothin fancy) that has taken me faithfully over many a mountain. I've put the thing through the mill, and it still works.

Nice gratz, probably the biggest thing I have won was like a $10 gift certificate to something.

i havent had a ride on my bike for like 2 years its sittin in the garage all dusty wit spider webs all over it and the two wheels are flat :lol:

Lol I've won a trip to a (dangerous, but cheap) theme park aswell :D It's called Gumbuya Park. Yeah it was all fun until this one guy fell off that shotty ride..
