November 30, 200520 yr Yes these sporadic visits are thanks to a few factors: 1) Stopped WoW because I can't dedicate the time it requires to be fun any more. 2) I don't go to as many lectures as I should. I promised myself I'd get my act together, but I haven't. I do go to most though so I'm not a complete slugabed. I figured that so long as my visits are only sporadic its okay to post, because then I don't have to concern myself with the myriad of idiotic topics and replies that this place is festooned with and therefore it won't make me angry. It looks like I left somewhat of a legacy too, what with all those "Darkwebz mafia" things I see... I do drive a volvo 440 though, as do my grandparents.

December 1, 200520 yr stock Mazda RX7 || stock Toyota Celica > suped up Nissan skyline GTR :) Just like with Lancer's and WRX's. Skyline is just another fad car with nothing overly great about it. Stock Lotus's piss all over a skyline even after they've been suped up. AND the price is almost exactly the same in some sad cases :-?
December 1, 200520 yr Just curious, is this thread meant to be specific to the r35 prototype that has just been unveiled or all GTR's? Because its a pretty wide field if you are talking about all, however they are a powerful car for the their price and fairly easy to get parts for. But as a downside it means that i am sick of seeing R32's cruising around. However nothing like seeing a nicely modded r34 gtr (clean though, not riced) Edit: Stock Lotus's piss all over a skyline even after they've been suped up. Thats a pretty big claim. A stock r33 skyline puts out about 280hp (about 210kw), a stock lotus elise puts out 190hp (about 140kw). Now i havent completly checked weights for both so its hard to compare but i cant see a stock lotus beating a modded skyline. Edit 2: Actually i can't be bothered checking this out, because with enough money you could definitely make the skyline better, but that all depends on how much money you have to throw around. Not to mention it all depends on which skyline and which lotus. Oh and don't get me wrong i love lotus's, some day i want my very own orange exige. Btw i see you are from brizzy as well, if you are interested in the car scene check out Milton mcdonalds on a thurs night, or aspley maccas depending which side of town you are on.
December 1, 200520 yr The Elise is fairly light. A fair bit more than most Skyline's, iirc. Generally speaking the Skyline will come out on top - all comes down to how much has been sunk into mod's :P
