iSketch

 

iSketch is a game online similar to charades, where you have a number of people in a room, and a person is chose to be a drawer for the round (there are 10 rounds per game), and they are given a word. Without cheating (I.E. using letters, etc), you have to draw the word, and everyone else guesses what it is. You get points for having your picture guessed correctly and for guessing what the picture is, depending on what number you were that guessed it (you get less points for being the 5th person to guess it, while the first gets the full points).

 

I wanted to introduce it, see if anyone else had played it, and their thoughts. It's completely free, and all you need to do is make up a username (no registration). :)

Just a hint, if you're drawing - make it as simple as you can. If the word is love, than just big red heart is better than trying to draw two stick figures holding hands and kissing aha.

I used to be addicted to this haha. Sort of still am.

So basically, internet pictionary? Well, I don't really have anyone else to play pictionary with at the moment....

I play this time to time when I'm bored. Pretty fun game. Sometimes it gets annoying when one guy in the room has more or less have the whole database of words memorized and keeps beating the rest of the room easily.

This is pretty awesome. I usually forget the name of the site, and end up not visiting it for months, and then I stumbleupon it or a link's posted wherever and I'm trapped.

Indeed, it is internet pictionary. There is a facebook app called 'SKetchee!' that does the same thing.

I used to play this a few months ago, it's pretty fun. Gets old quick though.

I remember this, but my current internet is always giving me "lost connection to server" so its not going to work :P

Hrmmm. Perhaps we could organise a TIF game as someone mentioned earlier. I think that that would be fun :)

You know what makes this game 10x more fun? When it's your turn to draw in a full room, just draw something completely unrelated to what you're supposed to. For example, my word was "cage" and I drew a guy riding a unicorn in the clouds. Everyone was like "Wtf?!" :lol:

Lol my word was wet so I drew a cat. They weren't amused :(

There's something like this on OMGpop called "draw my thing", it uses flash. My brother got addicted to it, and I'm planning to do that too when I get my tablet.
