Delta V

Neither of you used the proper measurement, the proper one would be ampere. To put it in an example:

The shields require ?V, with the generators ?Ω of resistance that requires ?A of electricity reulting in ?W of effect which according to the time means it exerts ?J of work.

Buffers protect from X number of Watts(Joules per second), generators have a capacity of X number of Joules.

Volts, Ohms and Amperes are redundant and overcomplicated and are only used if someone particualarly wants to has a physics fight with me.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Mather, we are using fringe physics with hyperdrives and stuff, we all understand what Archi is conveying (joule = constant, watt = one second) so why do we have to use amps?

You've not got it at all, a joule is the energy used in a physical action, a watt is the electricity which is transformed (Ampere*Ohm). How much energy needed has to be measured must be in electrical terms, more specifically Volts and Amperes.

Archi, joules are watts per second, not the other way around (1J = 1W * 1S).

Loool athiest religion made me lol. Shouldn't an advantage be research speed?

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Well on a lot of games I play it is research speed cause a lot of religions hold back science.

Mines techno logic.

I feel stupid now... I don't know what you just said

is "monotheistic" one god religions and "fundamentalism" kind of the ground rules?

If so then I guess there are more religions to think about.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Do miracles actually happen with the one god religion?

Rocco, I think Icu has a point; there was a huge amount of scientific opression with the Christian religion and I assume other religions, it probably won't matter in these times but it would have years ago and if the still believe it it would definately cause a malus on technolgy.

Miracles actually happen, if you are going into a battle where you are outnumbered, or if you have a supply shortage, you can pray, and occassionally something good will happen.

And Muslims advanced faster than anyone else in the middle ages, and faith acts as a catalyst to more ingenous ways to killing each other...

Only total fundermentalists hold back science:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZFG5PKw504

And, unless you start knocking down research labs to build more churches, in which case you lose research speed anyway, non-fundermentalists will still exist.

Although, passing laws against science will give religious boosts(potentially), but slow down science.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Your people have nothing to believe for, you kinda lose that boost you get with a belief. That and I think Archi has some sort of divine power in the game.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I think one god is just an excuse for Archi to go smiting :)

You need an engine, a power generator, living quarters and suppy hold.

Weapons, Shield generators, computers would be helpful.

Include the armour you put on it.

Too smaller power generators prevent you firing all your weapons or firing weapons at full power.

Three Fusion cores should be enough to power two dozen lasers.

Rocco, there was huge scientific opression in medieval england, it still happens now when scientists are bound by (In the words of Andrew Ryan) petty morales.

Which is why Techno-logists get a bonus, they are not bound by morality and such.

Most everyone else, including Atheists, is.

Exception being Objectivists(Divine Self), who get a larger bonus, since they are not held back by anything.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Heavy attack Crusier, per chance?

Preliminarily, you are looking around 60,000 resources(Netros is included), and around 40,000 cash, per ship.

If that is alright then I will draw up the stats.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

To explain the morality of the replicators, they killed millions of people in order to deplete their enemy's food source. They do not feel bad for destroying anything that might become a threat or that might help their enemy.

BTW, don't try to use a floor planner when making ships, just trying to make a puddle jumper was too annoying.

Engines are tiny :o, but then again the firepower of ship is massive.
