Could always switch, and you(Personally, everyone else starts with a fully colonised planet and nothing else) get 40 times the annual resource output instantously, when you start...so you could build ships with that, or something :rolleyes:

Just the first planet...

Basically, your race has been on this planet for a LONG time...and they have dug up all of the useful stuff to make shells, so all of the useful stuff is just lying around on the surface, in dead shells, ready to be used.

Blue is jobs, green are housing, yellow are research stations, dark red are drone platforms.

Hehe, turn the planet into a clusterbomb and have entire sections of the surface break away and launch towards other nearby planets... I might use that idea...

 

Also, are Kademi always crab-shaped, or are their exoshells more flexible in terms of shape? One of my plans for emergencies in close-combat was to have them generate high temperatures and encase enemies in minerals.

I have a problem, and I've been having this with many pics downloaded off the site so it is confusing me, but many of the colours I use do not appear or appear in weird colours, like red becoming pale yellow. But with this pic everything is either black or white, and it is really confusing me.

Hmmmm...What is probably is, is that most of the files on site are saved as 256 colour Bitmats, which are then converted into Gifs...

Non-Science version:

Files only have 256 colours to work with, rather than the billions usually possible.

 

Advice:

Open a new file and design it there, or use the colours that work.

There's no lack of rocks there, but it wasn't just lightshows, that planet was made almost entirely out of an unstable variant of naquadah about 1,000 times more powerful.
