Skyscrapers.

Heading off people who start arguments about how they build skyscrapers and thus have one 10 pixal building with 1,000 rooms, with a maturation rate of 1 year and this and that and the other which means that they have one building with everyone in.

 

Until such time as folding space in on itself becomes feasible, 1 pixal supports 10 people.

 

Also Nutrient/Energy recyclers are basic tech, providing minimal food. Farms and such make people happier.

 

 

But what are the stats (housing space, defencive, etc)?

Yeah, city ships contain both housing, research stations, weapons (of course), shields and power generation capabillities (the hull works as a gigantic solar panel).

Also my map currently looks like the Norwegian flag since I chose red for spaceports and blue for jobs (randomly chosen actually).

I have no way to make the maps... I can't play then? :(

I think ms paint generally works

Dunno how to use that.

Step 1: Open windows explorer

Step 2: Find the image you want to edit

Step 3: Where it normally says preview click on the arrow pointing down and select ms paint

Step 4: In this case you would want to use the dot tool (in the square setting most likely)

Step 6: Edit said image

Step 7: ???

Step 8: Profit

Just try, it's as simple as you can get in a drawing program.

No, you can find it in the start menu.

If you are on Vista then:

 

Press Start

Type MSpaint in the search bar

Press enter

Wait for it to load up

Press Control+E

Change both numbers to 100

Design a city

Save

Upload to http://imgur.com/

When you are very close you can use the grid to help you.

 

Then use the pencil, since that draws 1 pixal at a time.

The city ships contain housing, you decide how much and what else.

And the planet is, as the image's name sais, columbad5.

City ships are just like cities(only smaller, seemingly), so you need to design them.

Also, Archi, what am I supposed to do when the game starts? I won't have any resources, and I'm living on the only planet my race can inhabit. Jeez, wish I had started the planet next to it so I didn't lose the easiest planet to inhabit. <_<

Could always switch, and you(Personally, everyone else starts with a fully colonised planet and nothing else) get 40 times the annual resource output instantously, when you start...so you could build ships with that, or something :rolleyes:

Your choice really Nex when you picked that race. Maybe use your free 500 years research to help you.
