About earth temp.

Any gravity (I'm a bug, it won't matter that much to me)

Any atmosphere.

8,000+ resources.

Grim chose the same planet, and that would mean that he'd probaly want to genocide me on the first turn. Waaaaagh and all of that. Then they'd eat me. :(

 

 

 

 

If gravity affects more than trade, then I'll consider switching planets. I'd probaly stick in the same star system though.

You know what would be fun, we should all start on the same planet :thumbup:

And how would all these spacefaring races co-exist? They emerged from different kinds of planets.

Retech I would advise you from trying to share a system with me because I have a bonus to fighting if there is another non extinct sentient species in the system(which would be devastating in the ground wars we would be fighting most likely).

Most would be able to survive on the same planet.

Hence why I have found another system. :thumbup:

People who use it, get it...people who don't...don't.

 

Why are planets divided by six?

They should be divided into 10, since there are 10 developments per planet.

 

What are the squares on the bottom of a planet?

Development maps.

Each Pixal is equal to 10 Meters, and are 100 Pixals high/wide

 

Why are we using imperial measurements, why not the modern and more accepted metric system.

I am more comfortable with Pounds and Stone...and we have a tonne of Americans, so...

Races can start anywhere...Except Stars...Stars are too hot.

And price of colonisation and developments made on said planet.

If the ships are built on the planet itself, then they cost extra to get into space...usually negligable.

Tech system is done in three ways:

 

Archology(Rarely yields anything but can be anything...Obviously requires alien ruins or data or some such)

A Great Scientist/whatever(Costs nothing and advances your tech)

R&D Department (Costs an amount relative to how fast you want it to go...The more money you spend the faster the research goes...But the Cost-Research value is lower)*

 

 

Research targets are set (5 years or whatever), but the actual time taken can vary tremendously...instant breakthroughs and never ending research is possible.

 

 

*Example:

1,000 on Lasers = 10 Years

5,000 on Lasers = 5 Years

10,000 on Lasers = 3 Years

 

 

 

You can improve existing techs or research new ones...Levels System.

 

Tech Trees only exist as the distance between Theory and Practical... Example: Trying to research Tachyon Jump Drives, without knowing how to make Tachyons...or what Tachyons are...has a VERY low chance of success.

Hmmm 500 years of research are going to be spent on the following techs

 

Neurology - The study of brains

Brain Impulses - Studying what the impulses in the brain do

Man-Made Brain Impulses - Creation of impulses, simple to complex, basically controlling brains.

Easier Methods To Control Brain - Innotive designs for brain controlling rays

Brain Ray Gun - <----------

"The Loyalty Gun" - Exactly what it says, basically a huge upgrade on the above form

The Loyalty Field - Again exact same thing, larger area

 

Thats probably 100 years right there.

 

That finishes the study of one of my main weapons
