What is delaying the start for this? The only things I can think of are

 

-website design to display the races (we don't really need to have that to start)

-deciding ship prices

-deciding research amounts

 

Napoleonic Hegemony, starting a seperate game now will either flounder or will wreck the other game.

To create gravity you can spin things, I've been researching and found about something like gravitational spaghetti which by using centrifugal force to make an artificial gravity.

I have Zygon, Illumin, Replicator and AI of Ross written up, writing up the Rebels of Circunis(After searching the thread twice for it <_< ) then just need to do the Licht, Orkz, Imperium and the Space Elves and the Races will be done.

Then just need to do a little bit on the Techs and I am ready to rock and roll.

 

If there are any complaints then I will delay a day or two to resolve them

Its not actually gravity...Its kinda like...Spagetti compared to Electrical Cable...They look similar, they both carry energy(Carbohydrates vs Electrical)...but they are not really the same thing.

Please be aware that the site's enchanced graphics have fallen to peices since I had to overwrite everthing, and thanks to a silly programming error, that I will fix later, two capital letters are included in the file name...and Unix can't handle capital letters...so all the files are changed to lower case, meaning it can't find the file <_< 20 minutes and words auto replace function would fix it.

Please be aware that complaining someone else's race is overpowered is unlikely to achieve anything.

Complaining that the Pictures were shredded by the JPEGGER are similarly unlikely to achieve anything, I am aware of it, I will fix it when I am not 4 hours away from getting up.

My favourite one is AI of ROSS

 

Couple of changes to mine.

 

Culture: Tribal representive democracy.
<font face="roman" color="red">BRAINS....!</font> and all protein based substances.

The Zygon race evolved on a planet dominated by Humanoid beings who were on the edge of grasping Sentience at the same time as the Zygons. As both sides struggled for dominance over the planet the Zygons evolved a complex sequestration process, making up for their weakness of being a small, weak and crushable. Eventually the Zygons defeated their humanoid counterparts and enslaved their bodies. Zygons can produce a jelly to live in, zygons spread there nerves out of there body to control other animals or there own jelly. They eat protein by sucking it out by protein tubes that grow out of there shell.

Advantages:
Technologically Savvy- Technology only requires 25% of normal time and cost.
Sequestration, thy name is Thee- Reverse Engineering almost always succeeds.
DIDN'T YOU MEAN TO ASK ME ABOUT FLOWERS?- Espionage bonus
Parasite(Human)-  Can attempt, with a high probablity of success, to take control of any Humanoid
Parasite(General)- Can attempt, with a moderate probability of success to take control of any creature with a Brain
What's that sound coming from the Air Vent?- Espionage bonus

Disadvantages:
Just the right height and weight to be kicked- All races above 4 ft (1.2m) have a strong bonus in close quarter fighting
The shell is for show- Weight and Weapons fire will crack the shell, doing extra damage.
Little Legs- Takes four times as long to travel on land
Kill it with FIRE- when encased in jelly it will boil, thin shell does not protect from heat; fire is more effective.
Is the gas on?- Gas can seep directly through the shell.
Scary Sycophants- Humanoids will naturally hate them, therfore alliances can't be formed with organic humanoids.
The hole in the bubble- lack of any real immune system, increased vulnerability to biological weapons.
They deserved it!- moral penalty for helping other races.

 

Added five disadvantages, improved one advantage.

What are the squares on the bottom of a planet?

 

Why are we using imperial measurements, why not the modern and more accepted metric system. If you insist on using imperial could you put the metric measurement in brackets next to it.

Nex, I like your race; your tactics should basically be research some decent defence and than gain control and terraform as many planets as you can and than just keep everyone out. I'm not sure what your tactics are because Dusty didn't list them in his post in hegemony argument thread but I think you have a fair chance to getting to endgame.

Ross is not choosing a race adept at his playstyle.

Would my race survive in Cycnos in the Delta Ara system, I could have started off as cave slime and grown a brain shell and managed to survive.

I already have some of the tech I want, and I have the perks I want. My planet has huge resources too :) though not as much as epsilon cerburus.

 

Iconic, that probably isn't the best starting area, you atleast want some other planets otherwise you'll be stuck with mild resources until you can actually get out of the system. Unless you're a turtle.

I think having 100x of Earth (I think 1.0 is Earth) is going to affect a little bit more than trading. If it doesn't then nice pick, but if it does then lawl. Also why not go with the planet you first? If you and Grim become allies you two will deffo reach end game.
