Most other nobles get "taken care of" by the secret service, for the crime of being so damn useless that it hurts, and imprisoning my second best miner because he couldn't find a pretty enough rock. If I ever get a noble, they will get a throne room that is suspended over magma. Because by the time I get nobles, I should have found some of that hot red stuff. Or I'll just atomsmash them. Before the downwards spiral I had... wait, I had 13... Well, crap. Guess I do have an unlucky number. Anyways, fort's relatively stable for now. Everyone still sane has been drafted into the planter and brewer corps, and though I lost all of my bluefish when a tirading miner pulled a lever he wasn't supposed to. Could've been worse, I suppose, he could've potentially flooded the entire farm area. And ooooh crap, just got 18 migrants. I only had one anvil which I had not yet installed in a workshop... Therefore, I only have one forge until he leaves his mood... Which means no metal of any sort... AND HE'S DEMANDING METAL BARS. A good supply of flux stone, a river and a brook nearby (Which I will very soon redirect into an underground fishing spot), mountains made of peat (Which is so very quick to dig through) and best of all, mountains and mountains of GOLD. EVERYWHERE. Already got a very efficient farm started, stills are up and running, masons shop and carpentry shop are good to go, and fishery is being built now.
