Cortex was a troll. He was cool in the first one, but then he lost his status from then on.

G-Man? A villain?

If anything it's Breen. He has that eeevil posh accent and he wears a brown suit with combed hair and wants everyone to follow his orders and kills the ones he doesn't like or that join the resistance (COUGHww2COUGH).

Although I hope your talking about G-Man from HL2... if your not, disregard this post. I am an idiot

True, but G man is so mysterious he could be the mastermind behind everything, even Breen. He's always there but not there, possible having a hand in every event that happens. Plus, I remember reading somewhere that he chose the specimen for the original cascade experiment.

rokkaku from jet set radio future.

sometimes i doubt your commitment to sparkle motion...

Out of the Pokemon villians, Cyrus still takes the cake over the other leaders. He actually succeeds with his plans of gaining control of the gods, if only for a little bit. Magma and Aqua failed in that area to the point where they nearly destroyed the world because they couldn't control Kyogre/Groudon. Team Rocket is old-school, but their plans didn't go over as well as it should have.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

Kuja. An insane alien who is bent on destroying all creation and the source of creation: The Crystal. Also, he rides a dragon. How awesome is that?

He did. (You prob heard it from me haha).

Funny enough I found out the G man was the one who chose the specimen when I played through the PS2 version Half Life: Decay.

The G-man has set a lot of things up as well. In (I believe) opposing force the G-Man is seen reactivating a large bomb that you defused. (To cover up what really happened at Black Mesa?).

He may not be a villain but he's definitely not good.

Bowser. Come on, he's been the Nintendo villain since 1980's or something. If there's one for each console, he won Nintendo's.

The day Bison graced the video game world was the most important day of our lives. But for him it was Tuesday.

King Dedede.

I dunno, I just find it funny on what he does as a "villain". Stealing all of Dreamland's food just for the hell of it? lol.

Since it's gamespot, it will most likely be a PC carachter, the same happened on their "Greatest Videogame Hero" contest (due to propaganda by valve) :P

Yeah, I just played System Shock 2 through. SHODAN is probably the best villian ever. Basically, she earns god status as soon as you kill The Many. God status as in she starts warping reality itself into cyberspace, just to form reality into her own image(Hint: It's not good). System Shock 1 was also interesting. She gained control of the space station where the game takes place and controls everything. That elevator? She won't let you use it unless you reverse her somehow by hacking. She keeps one-upping you. And she's persistent. The worst part of it is that she was programmed to be like a human being in a sense, so her capacity for evil is as large as our own.

And in regards to G-man, his intentions are still unknown. There's nothing that really says what he's after, whether he's merely a pawn in a much larger scheme, or even if there's something in it for him. I've had some long chats about him, and it still ends in not having a clue what his intentions are.

Heh yeah, SHODAN is just [bleep]ing evil. The twist as well (which Bioshock later reused) was incredible. But yeah its just the fact that she is always present, always there that is so crazy. Some bosses and villains you see maybe twice before doing one big showdown with them. SHODAN you encounter throughout the entire game.
