September 19, 201015 yr Author Thank you so much for the advice! I'm saving your post. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
September 19, 201015 yr No worries, I'm really looking forward to hear the follow up! Best of luck to you (and bring extra batteries~!)
September 19, 201015 yr What do you think is in the three "???" rooms in Church House? Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P. So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...
September 19, 201015 yr I'd be guessing some Bedrooms and a bathroom, but it does seem like a bit of a random house layout.
September 19, 201015 yr Just remember that ghosts like to get treated with respect like any other person.
September 19, 201015 yr Author Just remember that ghosts like to get treated with respect like any other person.Yep. Anyways, just got back from taking a look at Monroe with my cousin, and I'll be updating the main post in a bit. Pictures and vids will be added in a few minutes. Edit: Pics are up, vid to come when it's done uploading. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
September 19, 201015 yr I have always believed that ghost stories were made up or hallucinated, because most of them were. That said, it's not something I'm entirely sure of. This thread will certainly be interesting if you can actually show us some solid evidence. My advice: Be calm and rational. If you go in there thinking "AMG let's see ghosts" you're going to be seeing the supernatural in every little flicker of light or scurrying animal.
September 19, 201015 yr Author My advice: Be calm and rational. If you go in there thinking "AMG let's see ghosts" you're going to be seeing the supernatural in every little flicker of light or scurrying animal. We're trying to be scientific about it. If we see something, we're going to investigate it, not make assumptions. You have to be skeptical. That said, I promise not to make it like Most Haunted, where we tell you stuff happened, but don't actually show anything and expect you to take our word for it. Edit: Video is up. To your question tfrom the video, I distinctly remember all three locks being intact in the first video. ...Weird.... If Dizzle suddenly stops posting, TiF needs to send a rescue team. September 20, 201015 yr Author Hmmm the house doesn't even look that old.We know for a fact that it has been abandoned for at least 15 years. It's probably as old as most houses on Long Island though, around the 50's. At TTanT, I think you're right... that's pretty weird. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
September 20, 201015 yr this thread partly creeps me out, and partly gets my interest  99 Firemaking 30-5-2010 | 99 Fletching 13-7-2014 TET-AU member:6-10-2010 - 21-10-2011

September 20, 201015 yr Author Loving the interest, guys  Time for an update, probably the last for a few days. The Monroe pics and vids, the Church House map, and some of Kimberly's posts are in a folder that is being distributed to the team. When I handed the flash drive over to one, he had a list of observations about one of the pics for me. [spoiler=Observations of a Pic] -Burnt furniture (though I don't think it looks burnt, he was looking at the darker picture)-60's-80's decor-Lead microwave (I don't see it)-American flag book-Shattered plate (I don't see it)-Oil lamp-Mist? (he left a question mark next to this one. I don't really see it.) I'm going to link them to this thread. Maybe they can join and give more input. Also, trip to Amityville is postponed, so instead we'll be doing a Pre-Investigation of Church House on Friday. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
September 20, 201015 yr I would like more information on the monroe house, this one is currently the most interesting to me. Although if you do interview this "Church" fellow, maybe the church house may peak my interest. Personally, I am rather skeptic, but at the same time a believer, I mean, weird stuff does happen and there is no explanation, but then again, science almost always has the answer, and it might just be something we haven't gotten close to comprehending. It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?
September 21, 201015 yr Author GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! We were so excited about doing a Pre-Investigation of Church House, we're doing it today! I'll post back in a few hours. Edit: Unfortunately, someone saw us going into Church House, and we had to head out after the first few minutes. We did find some interesting stuff there though, much of it possibly relating to Church. I'll post pics in a bit, when we're done registering the friend that came with. As with the Monroe thing, pics will be edited into the OP. Full Pre-Investigation hopefully to come Friday. OT, say hello to ByzantineEagle. Edit2: Pics are up, along with a revised map. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
September 21, 201015 yr Old records are more likely to indicate the age of the people living there, not the age of the house. Look at the style, it can't be more than 30 years old, and it doesn't look like it has been abandoned for more than 10 years. I'm going to guess and say it was an old widow or something, living by herself who died. Maybe she had no family, so no one to pass the house onto, so that's why it hasn't been taking care of. Also, you guys seem to like your raccoons, but I'm pretty sure whoever ripped that board off was probably just like you: curious young kids who wanted to see what was inside, but didn't want to break all the way in.
September 21, 201015 yr Author @Jeff, you're probably right about no raccoons at Monroe, and about the person living in Church, but the Church place has been abandoned since around 2001 based on evidence around the house, and the pretty much the entire town was built in the mid to late 50's, and the only parts of town that recent are the set of houses a couple of miles south. P.S. Can someone translate this? Get back here so I can rub your butt.
September 21, 201015 yr Looks like a Father's Day card. "Feliz dia de los Padres" is "Happy Father's Day." Roses are red,Violets are blue. This line doesn't rhyme,And neither does this one.
September 21, 201015 yr Author That's interesting, because we found another card for Father's Day where half of it was in English, and the bottom half in Spanish. Maybe the kid primarily spoke English, but the parent spoke only Spanish? I also got a pic of the second card if anyone wants to see it. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
September 21, 201015 yr Hey I'm dizzle229's friend. I'm a co-investigator in our Ghost Hunting trips. As you probably know I like to Ghost Hunt and I have had experiences in the past. and watch shows like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures (Eventhough GADV can be a little comical)Anyway like dizzle said we postponed the pre-investigation of the "Church" House. Just to answer some questions the mist in the Clear picture is on the bottom left. The shattered plate is on the bottom right. You can tell from the red shard on the ground. The Led microwave is on the back in the kitchen on the kitchen table. Thanks and hope to have great discussions and we hope to post evidence soon. --ByznatineEagle
